The original way

Cooking sauces is easy. Usually, you just need to pick the right ingredients, and then treat them accordingly. The recipe for a sweet and sour sauce, as in McDonald's, in accordance with one of the popular options provides for the presence of the following main components:

2 tablespoons of corn syrup as much water, 4 teaspoons of white vinegar, a clove of garlic, a quarter cup of apricot and peach confiture, one and a half teaspoons of starch, half a teaspoon of mustard and soy sauce, and 2 grams of salt.

The composition is rather complicated. But the recipe for sweet and sour sauce, as in McDonald's, is easy to repeat, since all the ingredients can be found in the store without special problems or prepared independently.

The technology of this process is simple:

  1. First, all components except water should be loaded into the blender bowl and beat until the mass is almost uniform.
  2. After that, the prepared mixture should be poured into a saucepan and heated for 7 minutes on medium heat with constant stirring. After cooling, the sauce will be completely ready for use.

  2. Add sugar with gelatin and leave the mixture in the refrigerator under the lid for the whole night.
  3. In the morning, the pan with the product should be put on the stove and heat the mass over medium heat, not forgetting to stir constantly to avoid burning.
  4. After 3 minutes, add liqueur and warm the formula for a while after boiling.

Another hot mixture can be poured over cans and, tightly corked, taken to a cool place.

Required components

In order to taste the product as close as possible to the original version, it is necessary to strictly follow the composition and the quantitative ratio of the ingredients. So, mustard, vinegar and starch are found in almost every recipe. Better, of course, to have these products in ready-made form. But some of them can be prepared independently if necessary. To do this, you only need:

Mustard powder, water (boiling water), vinegar and a little salt, sugar and vegetable oil.

Preparation of such a product takes place in several stages:

  1. In a clean, dry container, one must fill a tablespoon of mustard powder.
  2. Add to it the same amount of boiling water and grind until a thick, uniform mass forms.
  3. Pour in as much hot water and continue stirring. Gradual introduction of a liquid allows to achieve the maximum homogeneity and complete absence of lumps.
  4. After this, the mixture should be left to stand for 15 minutes, so that essential oils can escape during this time.
  5. Then you need to add the remaining components, focusing on your own taste.

Prepared mustard can be stored for a long time in the refrigerator and used at the right time for the intended purpose.

Composition of popular sandwiches

Burger is a special kind of sandwich. It was created in the early twentieth century in the United States of America, and then with the help of the famous company Burger King turned into the most popular fast food product in the world. The composition of this burger necessarily includes the original sauce, which serves as a kind of a link between the remaining components.
