By the Olympic Games the city of Sochi has changed almost beyond recognition. Now there are many different objects, not only sports, but also cultural, and entertaining. History of creation

The project of a huge entertainment complex based on Russian folk tales and achievements of science was conceived as far back as in 2011. After the decision on the construction was made, its implementation began. The entertainment center was established in the Imereti lowland of the Adler district. "Sochi Park" was erected specially on the territory of the Olympic Park near the sea.

The park opened on June 1, 2014, on Children's Day. However, during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi it was also possible to visit, which made more than 140 thousand people. Then the park worked only in test mode.

About the park

The amusement park "Sochi-park" is the first such project in the territory of Russia. A huge theme park with an area of more than 20 hectares presents entertainment for all tastes to visitors, for which he was nicknamed "Disneyland in Russian".

The whole territory of the complex is divided into 5 parts:

1. "Alley of lights." Here are all the outlets, cafes, restaurants, health centers and other necessary institutions. It is also the venue for events.

2. "The Edge of the Knights". In this part are various power games, as well as a large hotel "Bogatyr", which is made in the style of a fairytale castle. Near it is the "Mirror Palace", designed to hold events for up to 250 people.

3. "Enchanted Forest". This is the place in which most of the park's attractions are concentrated. This area is great for walks, because there are firs, palms and oaks growing here, and there is also a green labyrinth "Lukomorye".

4. "Ecoderevelopment". In this part you can find a few more attractions, pavilions and places for walking.

5. "The Edge of Science and Fiction." This is an amazing place, which is devoted to the achievements of Russian science. Also in this part there is a games room, playgrounds and attractions.

Not far from the entertainment center is the ice rink (in the Sochi Olympic Park), so it was not built nearby. But they plan to build a dolphinarium, and there will be recognized stars from the current Sochi Dolphinarium. Its opening should take place in the summer of 2015. Also, a lot of different sculptures have been built here, dedicated to fairy tales, including green ones, and characters from children's books walk around the streets.

The schedule of Sochi-Park is stable: every day it is open for visitors from 11 to 22 hours. It works without days off all year round.

Attractions for adults

The amusement park "Sochi-park" is unique in every respect. So, here there are 3 attractions for adults, which have no analogues in Russia yet! These attractions are available for adults and children from 12 years, but not even every adult decides to ride them.

1. "Firebird". Feel on yourself all the charms of free fall from a height of 65 meters! About such a rise and fall you will definitely have memories for a long time.

2. "Quantum jump". This attraction is a hill with a height of 58 meters. If you decide to ride it, then prepare to rush at a speed of 105 km / h. This is the fastest slide in Russia.

3. "Snake Gorynych." This is one of the longest slides of the country, because its length is 1056 meters, and the height reaches 38. On the way, the composition develops a speed of up to 100 km / h.

Attractions for children

A new entertainment park is built primarily for children who have not yet parted with their dreamlike dreams, which is why most of the attractions are built for them. Children can ride on the following attractions:

"The Magic Flight." The attraction raises the cabins, and then simulates a free fall. Designed for children of 8 years, accompanied by their parents.

- "Drifter". The cabins of this attraction are made in the form of racing cars, so that they will definitely impress children. To go on it, the child should be more than 6 years old. Remember that the ride is allowed only with adults.

- "Gems". The swings 13 meters high and shine in the sun. Designed for children from 6 years.

- The "Pinocode" globetrotter. On this hill children from 4 years are allowed, accompanied by adults. For sure the trip will bring pleasure to both, and that.

- "Tea cups". One of the quieter options for children from 4 years old, accompanied by adults. Feel yourself on the spot of tea and swirl in the cup.

- "Flying ship". He is ready to lift you up and carry you far on your wings. For children from 4 years with adults.

- "Merry Pirate". Is your child addicted to pirates? Then he should show what it is if he was more than 4 years old. For children with adults.

Children can also ride on children's typewriters and motorcycles or compete in arcade games on slot machines in a special room.

Events

Events in Sochi's Olympic Park are often held in Sochi Park, because there is a special site for them. This opportunity is used by various circus, theatrical or musical groups, so you can see their performances here.

Most often in the park you can see the magic show "Illusion", see the performances of street jugglers and acrobats, circus tricks, and listen to the music of the glass harp. Sometimes the park visits the circus from Holland or other countries. Usually the price is immediately included in a single entrance ticket.

Playgrounds

The amusement park "Sochi-park" is ideal as a playground for active games for children of all ages. So, in the entertainment center there are 2 large grounds.

The first one is called "Space jungle". It simply amazes the imagination of both adults and children. What swings, slides and tunnels are not there! Also this platform will help your children to test their strength and coordination of movements.

In the park there is also the "Water playground". This is a great place to play in the hot days in Sochi. All kinds of lakes, rivers, dams and brooks allowed to create a whole water kingdom with boats and ferries.

"Experimentarium"

One of the highlights of the park is a museum in Sochi called "Experimentarium." It allows children to discover all the facets of science. Here you can and even need to touch the exhibits, you can check the laws of physics and chemistry in action.

The museum has a compartment dedicated to music, optics, electricity and mechanics. Also, visitors are waiting for funny puzzles, to deal with which is so interesting! Solve the laws of science yourself, because this will be remembered for a long time to children.

Price list

For sure now all the children of the country are dreaming to get into the Sochi Olympic Park. The prices for all entertainments and attractions are quite acceptable, so if you find yourself in this city, then necessarily bring the children there.

On the territory of the park there is a single ticket, which must be bought at the entrance. It gives visitors the right to ride all the attractions unlimited number of times and stay in the park for at least the whole day. After the construction of the dolphinarium and its visit will also be included in the cost. The only thing that is not included in the ticket is food and souvenirs.

Here is the cost of tickets for 2015:

- adults - 1350 rubles.,

- Children 5-12 years old - 1080 rubles.,

- children 0-5 years old, pensioners over 70 years old, as well as children 5-12 years old on the day of birth - for free.

Also in the entertainment park of Sochi, there are benefits for disabled people, combatants, pensioners and families with many children - a ticket for them will cost 1200 rubles.

Reviews

Basically, all visitors, both with children and without, remain completely delighted after visiting. In particular, there are many benches in the park and even padded stools, so it's simply impossible to get tired there. Also, visitors found a huge plus in that it is possible, for example, to come to the park in the morning, then leave it for daytime sleep and again go by the same tickets.

The only negative that visitors of the park note is the high cost of food and the price of tickets, but the question of food can be easily solved - just grab something to eat with you or take a stroll and look for cheaper cafes outside the complex.

As the visitors note, sometimes there are queues for attractions, but this is quite normal for such a complex.

Many talk about the incompleteness of work, because they were in 2014, when not all parts of the park were still functioning. Now, when everything works, going there is a pleasure!
