Legendary waterfalls Pshada in the Caucasus

There is a river in the Caucasus with the mysterious name Pshada, which in translation from Abkhaz means "valley of calmness." There is a legend that once today's neighborhood of Pshada was chosen by the impetuous northern wind called Borey. He did not tolerate anyone on his land, and it was only necessary to settle here for someone, as Borei immediately flew, sweeping everything in its path, tearing down the dwellings built by people.

But once an old man settled with his adult daughter on the lands of Boreas. I learned the north wind that someone lives on his lands, and rushed to these people. But, not having calculated forces, ran into a rock. Boreas fell, and the old man, swinging his stick, already wanted to kill him, but his daughter stopped him. She began to heal the evil Boreas and soon cured. Then Boreas decided to marry a girl, but she told him that she was born human, and the laws of the gods are alien to her. As a result, the northern wind left these places forever, so he expressed his gratitude for the healing. According to this legend, it was from this time that this land began to be called the valley of calmness.

Picturesque landscapes and the natural beauty of this place are difficult to convey in words - all this must be seen with your own eyes.
