Recipe for classic tiramisu for cooking at home

One of the most popular desserts in the world is the Italian tiramisu, which radically changes the idea of the pleasure of eating. Its name translates as "lift me up". There is dipped cookies or biscuits and immediately densely laid out on the bottom of the glass. On top of it, gently put the resulting cream, and then again a layer of impregnated biscuit. It is not necessary to allow that the dough will be very wet, as it will already take some of the moisture from the cream. The cream is again spread on the second layer of cookies. The glass is tightly covered with food film and sent to the refrigerator for several hours. Before serving, it should be sprinkled with cocoa powder and grated bitter chocolate. You can thinly cut the strawberries and put it on top, adding a few leaves of mint.

The recipe for classic tiramisu does not suggest any additives in the cream. Of course, you can replace the mascarpone cheese with fat cottage cheese and cream, but the taste will be not the same. In part, this magnificent dessert can be compared to an American cheesecake, but the first, undoubtedly, wins by its taste qualities. It can not be eaten on the go. Tiramisu is a delicacy of noble blood. They were still in the 17th century enjoyed by kings and their court subjects. According to one version, the recipe for classic tiramisu was opened by the chef specially for the Duke Cosimo III de Medici, who said that the delicacy increases the male power.
