Candy "Korovka" - one of the most favorite delicacies of children. Their creamy taste is so soft and memorable that it's hard to stop by trying once. At the same time, "Korovka" sweets (whose composition, if prepared in industrial conditions, can contain flavors and preservatives) is very easily manufactured at home. The preparation requires the most usual ingredients, and the result will not only be terrificly tasty, but also much more useful than the store version.

The recipe is quite simple, but the cooking time is long-at least six hours. Take 600 grams of sugar, 200 grams of milk powder (you can buy it in the department of children's products), 0.5 liters of regular milk (only not fat-free, but whole) and 100 grams of unsalted butter. In addition, fireproof dishes with a thick bottom will be needed. Mix in it two kinds of milk and sugar. Cook this mixture for about an hour until it turns into a light beige color. By the way, if you continue to keep on the fire, you can get home-made condensed milk. To make candy "Korovka", you need to add butter and continue cooking, stirring constantly. The mixture should gradually thicken and darken, acquiring the color and flavor of boiled condensed milk.
