There is nothing easier than to prepare this dish. And do not need a lot of fancy ingredients. Preparation of the physalis in this way requires only the presence of its own, sugar and water. It's easy, right? Berries and sugar will be needed per kilogram, and water - ½ liter. So, let's start cooking. Fruits of physalis should be thoroughly rinsed under water, remove all rootlets and leaves, then pierced in 2-3 places and put in some iron container (since then you have to put it on fire). In another saucepan it is necessary to pour the right amount of water and pour half of the sugar. All the contents must be put on the fire, bring to a boil, and after this moment, still keep the syrup on the fire for 5 minutes. Next, pour the fruit of physalis and leave the contents for 4 hours. After this time, the remaining sugar should be added to the pan, and then it is necessary to put the container on the fire. Jam should be brought to a boil, then keep it on fire for about 10 minutes. Then the jam should last for 8 hours. After this time it will be necessary to bring the contents of the pan back to the boil again, and then boil it for another 15 minutes. Now you can pour the jam on the containers and put it away for storage.

Jam from physalis. Recipe # 2 - with lemon

The second method of preparation is almost the same, only the addition of this yellow sour fruit will still be required. We only need one lemon fruit. It should be thoroughly washed, cut into small pieces and sprinkled with boiling water. Then the resulting mass should be sent to a pan with water and some sugar in order to prepare the syrup. And then the recipe is used without changes.

To make this jam, you will also need this sweet citrus. It needs to be washed and grinded (it is possible even with zedra). The rest of the ingredients need the same amount as in the first recipe. So, let's begin. In this version, the physlis, covered with sugar, should be left to infuse for 10-12 hours. When the time comes out, you need to put this mass on the fire, and then remove it from the plate as soon as it reaches the boil. Next, add our orange and cinnamon to the tank (optional). All should be thoroughly mixed and left for a day. Next it will be necessary again to bring the jam to a boil and let it cool again. Now he's ready. You can pour dishes on cans and start eating it.
