A hearty meal - food in pots (cooked in the oven)

Dishes that are cooked in a clay pot are very useful and tasty. Since ancient times, people have been preparing themselves food in such dishes in ovens. Now the oven can only be found in village houses, so that the food in the pots in the oven is baked in most people today. And you can think of so many different and delicious! Cooking food in the pot is a real treat.

Let us dwell on one of the dishes that can be cooked in this wonderful earthenware. It's buckwheat porridge with vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 200 grams;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • buckwheat grain;
  • Boiled water - two hundred milliliters;
  • Seasoning hops-suneli - 1 teaspoon;
  • Salt - ten grams;
  • Ghee - 50 grams;
  • Adyghe cheese - two hundred grams.

On a large grater we rub carrots, shredded cabbage with straws. Cubes cut the cheese, and then fry it until golden in a frying pan, oiled. Then add the carrots and cabbage and fry another fifteen minutes. Next, put the spices, salt and remove the frying pan.

In the meantime, cook buckwheat. We fill it with salt and butter. Next, take a pot and lay out layers of buckwheat, sour cream, then a vegetable mixture with cheese, until the whole pot is filled. We pour in a hundred milliliters of water. Covering the lid, put in the oven, heated to two hundred degrees, for fifteen minutes. Ready porridge is better served with the addition of sour cream. It turns out very tasty food in the pots.

The next recipe will be potatoes with meat in a pot. Any food in pots, cooked in the oven, is more delicious and aromatic than on the stove. For this dish we will need:

  • Green beans - a third of a glass;
  • Pork - four hundred grams;
  • Tomato - 2 pieces;
  • Cheese - one hundred grams;
  • Carrots -1 piece;
  • Potatoes - 4 pieces;
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 piece;
  • Pickled cucumbers - 2 pieces;
  • Garlic - four denticles;
  • salt;
  • greenery;
  • black pepper.

All components are laid in layers in pots and put in the oven. At the bottom put the potatoes, then the string beans. Pepper and salt the meat, lay it next layer, before cutting into small pieces. Then go cucumber and garlic. The top layer is tomato, pepper and carrots. On a quarter we fill the pot with water. All this is covered with greens and cheese.

Food in pots, in a stew oven , should not be too tightly stacked. So, it is necessary that the broth does not leak out when heated.

We set the pots in a cold oven, turn it on and bake it for about an hour (stew) at a temperature of about two hundred degrees. Readiness of the dish should be checked by potatoes. If it has become soft, then the dish can be obtained.

The next meal in the pots, cooked in the oven, is a cabbage.

Ingredients:

  • Milk - fifty milliliters;
  • Cabbage - a quarter of a head;
  • Bow - head;
  • Carrots - one piece;
  • Eggs - two pieces;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt;
  • greenery.

Shink the carrots, cabbage and chop the onions, and then all the vegetables until ready to stew. Whisk the milk with salt and eggs. We add greens to them. Pouring milk and egg mixture, shift the stewed vegetables into pots. We put for fifteen minutes in the oven at a temperature of about 180 degrees. You can serve it by adding sour cream.
