Installation of the electricity meter is performed at a level of 80 to 170 cm in a room, the temperature of which does not take values below 0 ° С. The connection of the appliance to the power circuits takes place by means of clamps and terminals, and the meter itself is mounted on the shield intended for this purpose.

After the installation process, it is necessary to invite the inspector of the power supply for inspection, sealing and drawing up an act of commissioning. Then a contract is signed with the power supply to pay for electricity through a two-tariff device. A copy of this document must be submitted to the house management or the chairman of the housing cooperative.
