Why put a public house electricity meter?

The common house electricity metering device allows you to save your finances deductible for public needs, such as lighting of staircases, ventilation and swing pumps, lift systems, outdoor lighting, and energy loss compensation. Individual control systems have already received widespread distribution, however, public house counters still cause distrust among the population.

A similar electricity meter is placed on the supply line at the entrance to the house. Consequently, it measures the entire amount of electricity consumed. This value includes a housekeeping and quarterly consumption. The first is determined by the section of the line from the moment of entering the house to entering the concrete apartment. The second indicator takes into account the needs of this apartment. This method allows you to more accurately calculate the need for electricity from the public.

The common house electricity meter counts the amount of energy expended per month , you can pay for the flow in two ways: the first includes the use of standards, the second uses only the meter's data. Let's consider each of them on specific examples.

For example, in your apartment an individual electricity metering device is already installed, in which case, when installing a house-building meter, you will pay only a portion that is proportional to the energy expenditure that your apartment consumed during this period. Thus, the more you use energy, the more impressive your electricity bill will look. If your apartment does not have its own metering devices, the calculation of payment will be made by the building management according to the standards, which take into account the yardage of the apartment (in square meters), as well as the number of citizens registered in this area. For example, in a three-room apartment there is an ordinary family of three people. In this case, they will pay about three times more than their neighbors, the same number of people living in a one-room apartment. At the same time, both of them will share electrical energy in equal parts .

As can be seen from the examples, the electricity metering device, both home and apartment, allows you to more accurately take into account the needs of the population, and therefore, more effectively approach the problems of production and distribution of electricity. However, house counters allow saving not only natural resources used at electric stations. They allow saving money of the population. This can be done in several ways, for example, replace the energy-saving lamps with light sources in outdoor lighting, install motion sensors, perform timely repairs and put protection against spontaneous connections to the home electrical network.

It should be noted that the common electricity metering device has one significant drawback: if a tenant refuses to pay his expenses, it will have to be done by the remaining neighbors. The cost of services is divided equally among all tenants.
