Payment of electricity - you need to understand

Many consumers paid no electricity for questions. After all, it is enough to take the meter readings, subtract from them the data for the previous month and multiply by the cost of the tariff per kilowatt-hour. However, with the introduction of new rules for the provision of public services, Russians had to face the appearance of adjustments or recalculations in a larger direction.

The fact is that for an electricity supplier - a distribution or grid company - it is important that they pay for all the energy that it has supplied. Usually, this is fixed by the company's own meters installed on the supplier-consumer responsibility boundary. However, the payment for electricity is not based on these data, but on the evidence taken from individual recording devices installed at home by citizens.

In addition, there is a fairly large number of consumers who do not have such devices. And the electricity without a meter is paid according to the regulations, which imply a fixed consumption of kilowatts per month. But often such consumers have a large number of powerful household appliances: they are not only electric kettles, washing machines and microwaves, but also split systems or air conditioners, dishwashers, electric stoves. And in this case, there is a volume of electricity that is not paid for by anyone.

The new rules for the provision of utilities imply protection of the rights not only of consumers, but also of service providers. Therefore, they can, after a certain period of time, recalculate the delivered resources, in this case electricity. And then the difference between the readings of the total meter and the sum of all individual meters is divided between all consumers and is set out as payment for electricity. The applied formula can not always be called fair, but it is approved by the government of the country, and therefore should be used.

In the payments there is still such a section as the payment for electricity MOP - public places. As a rule, we mean staircases, corridors near apartments, lighting of the adjacent territory. And for this you have to pay not for the meter and not for the standard per person - and from a square meter of this or that apartment. These payments are also often perceived as unfair, because you have to pay significantly more kilowatts than actually was spent by tenants.

But the new resolution brought good news for consumers. Now all the electricity providers must create Internet payment services. Paying for electricity through the Internet is very convenient for busy people. Alas, not all suppliers and not all banks offer such a service. Many people limited themselves to creating on their website a service for the formation of receipts in a remote mode, on-line recording for reception, etc. Of course, this is better than manually filling out the required forms. By the way, when using such a service, the client forms a receipt only according to the meter's indications. Therefore, he does not have to pay a regular adjustment.
