Homeliness, Tools and equipment
Joiner workbench. Why it is needed
By equipping your suburban home, you have to solve many of the most diverse problems. Of course, for money you can buy a lot. Some believe that everything. But just for no money in the world it is impossible to buy such a pleasure as building your own house with your own hands. But this requires a very extensive toolkit. And, perhaps, the first equipment, which should be acquired, is a usual workbench (carpentry or metalwork). With him, and should start preparing your workplace.
Small home workshop
It is necessary for us to conduct a variety of works on the arrangement of housing. And the joiner's workbench should become its semantic center. All this can be placed in any auxiliary room such as a garage or a barn. Or under a canopy that protects us from precipitation. The equipment of the workplace should be taken seriously - this will then significantly save both time and nerves. The joiner's workbench can be purchased both in the finished form, and build it yourself. In general, it is a wide, easy-to-use table, with a height of 70 to 75 centimeters. From the usual table it is distinguished by a system of stops, wedges and clamps. The most convenient layout of the workbench includes two screw terminals - on the left (on the front side) and on the right, in the end part of the table.
Doing it yourself
You can save on the purchase of such things necessary for home construction. Everyone whose hands grow not from the hip part of the body, can also build a carpenter's workbench for themselves. The drawing should be sketched in advance, based on the results of acquaintance with similar constructions. It should take into account the geometry of the place where you have to work on the improvement of your home. It is rational to think about placing the tool on the work surface and on the lower shelves below it. Shelves are most often made by two (as a rule, the bottom is used to store a variety of blanks). To the workbench you need to bring electrical wiring, and arrange it so that the wires of the power tool do not cross the working area.
Even at the stage of designing a workbench, special attention should be given to such an important moment as the rational removal of chips and other carpentry wastes. Sawdust should not accumulate in places where it is difficult to extract. The thoughtful organization of the workplace saves considerable time and energy.
