Poets of Russia - the history of the country in lyrics

Russian literature is recognized by the world public as one of the richest. Peru Russian-language authors own a huge number of works that enjoy the love of readers in different countries, the creation of the authors are put on stage scenes and become the basis for screenplays. But with poetry everything is not so simple - to convey the feelings and emotions of authors in another language is not as easy as it seems at first glance. But even with almost completely rewritten poems (in the translation of the lyrics, the main idea is usually retained, and the rest is created from scratch), poets of Russia are considered one of the best writers. What is the reason for this?

Graduation

In general, it is very difficult to clearly distinguish any specific periods in the development of Russian poetry. There is a Golden Age, there is a Silver Age, then the Soviet period is going on, but everything is not limited to such strict limits. Poems of Russia poets were published before Pushkin and Lermontov came to literature, and even with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the lyrics did not stop writing. But usually considered versification as an independent genre since the beginning of the nineteenth century - it was during this period that the star of Russian poetry rose.

Golden age

The Golden Age is almost the peak of the development of Russian poetry. Pushkin, Lermontov, Fet, Tyutchev - they all worked at about the same time.

Poets and writers of Russia first try themselves in the genre of classicism, which is replaced later by sentimentalism and romanticism. It is because of the combination of these genres that the opinion about the falsity, idealization of the Golden Age appeared - writers tried in every possible way to embellish reality. By the end of the century, the situation had changed: realism began to emerge, which not only discarded the sophistication of its predecessors, but also showed all the vices of man and the world around him. Later he was added satire - laughter through tears over everything that is happening in Russia in the late nineteenth century.

At the turn of the century. silver Age

The transition from one century to another gradually supplanted realism. There began to appear the literature of decadence, filled with anxiety, nervous because of the coming changes. Aggravation of social conflicts, the nascent revolution could not but excite writers, in their work the first notes of patriotic motives appear. The poets of Russia turn to the history of their country, trying to predict the further development of events. But here everyone did it in their own way: some went into critical realism, trying to make their lyrics as understandable to the people as possible, while others hid behind the wall of symbolism, resorting to allegories and the play of words, as if trying to tell between the lines.

With the crisis of symbolism in which such poets as Blok and Solovyov worked, new genres appear: acmeism, conveying every detail of the surrounding world (Akhmatova, Gumilev, Mandelstam), and futurism revolting against the foundations of society (Mayakovsky and Khlebnikov). The silver age of Russian literature is closely connected with changes in society, rejection of traditions and bold experiments in lyrics.

The Soviet period

The poets of Russia did not expect that the social upheaval that everyone had been waiting for would have such consequences. With the advent of the new government, persecution of the writers of the last generation began. Anyone who refused to write by order of the party was subjected to repression, a large number of talented writers were forced to emigrate under pressure from the public. The main motive of post-revolutionary poetry is the glorification of the Soviets, the idealization of a new world, built, in the truest sense of the word, on the bones of the old.

New realities superseded futurism and acmeism, completely surrendering to socialist realism. Scandalous and shocking in the background have taken a back seat: they began to be considered a lot of not too gifted poets, literature became as concrete and vital as possible. But she retained the main thing: interest in a person as an individual.

Postwar lyrics

The Great Patriotic War died down, having remained a nightmare in the memory of the people. And the poets of Russia greedily seized upon a new topic, laying out all the thoughts and feelings accumulated during the years of confrontation. There is a whole layer of writers working exclusively in the military genre, glorifying the people, telling the front stories, dividing the most intimate. But along with them, they wrote those who tried to distract people from the horror they had experienced. Futurism returns to poetry, experiments with the form of a poem, rhythm and rhyme come. The whole generation of the sixties worked on erasing the war from the memory of the people and replacing it with bright thoughts. During this period, work Christmas, Voznesensky, Yevtushenko, whose poems really admire their simplicity and ease.

Today

Modern poets of Russia continue the work of their predecessors. They write about what surrounds them, and about mysterious worlds, turn to classical versification and play with the form of lyrics. They combine incompatible in their verses, which gives hope for the further development of Russian poetry.
