All people are different - it's no secret. In one person, both positive aspects of character and negative ones can coexist. Now I want to talk about what there are human vices.

What is vice?

First you need to decide on the concepts. So, what are the vices and virtues of man? They must be considered together, because they are a reflection of each other, by different sides of the same coin. These are negative and positive aspects of a person's character, which are manifested in his deeds and actions. These character traits form not only the life of one person, but also influence others, so they can greatly change the life of close people both in the positive side - virtues, and negative - of vice.

If you want to consider near all the vices of mankind, it is worthwhile to go to Moscow and visit Bolotnaya Square. It was there, in 2001, that a series of monuments dedicated to the negative aspects of the character of man was opened. This composition is called "Children - victims of adult vices". Two children play hide and seek, and they are surrounded by 13 sculptures of three-meter height with the heads of fish or animals. As the author told Mikhail Shemyakin, this was done on purpose, because human vices are usually depicted in hypertrophied images. Monuments are arranged in strict order. Among them, you can find theft, prostitution, drug addiction, ignorance, alcoholism, false doctrine, sadism, indifference, the propaganda of violence, exploitation of child labor, war and poverty. One monument is for the unconscious.

Indifference

If a person is asked to identify the main human vices, for example, five, he will ponder. And it should be said that no one will have a single answer. After all, choice is an individual matter. For someone, one vice will be the most terrible, and someone will treat him condescendingly. However, a huge number of people agree that the first and most important vice is still indifference. This lack of empathy for oneself like, ie, people and all other representatives of the living world. It is this feature that is inherent in most murderers and rapists, it generates riots, permissiveness and impunity.

Falseness

The next vice of man is deceit. Which, today, by the way, is often considered almost a dignity. After all, to earn, for example, huge money in the modern world can only be cheated. However, it should be said that a lying person never cares about the feelings of others, he has a devil's attitude. "Once he lied, he will deceive you for the second time" - everyone should remember this saying.

Sales

This is a perfectly disguised vice of a person, who is not so easy to recognize. Often it is manifested in special life situations, when it is necessary to provide protection and rear. Will you agree that he is the most terrible in wartime?

Animals

This vice characterizes people who live exclusively for themselves, satisfying all their "animals", primary needs. Often they are stupid and ignorant.

Greed

Another very terrible vice of man is greed. This can be as simple as scrambling, and the thirst for wealth accumulation, the desire to own as many values and material goods as possible. Such people never divide anything, and the feeling of generosity is simply alien to them.

Hypocrisy

The next defect of a man, which, incidentally, is sometimes very difficult to recognize. Hypocritical people in every situation choose a position convenient for themselves in order to extract the maximum benefit. Such people wear a "mask" to look in the eyes of "necessary" people better than they really are.

Envy

The next vice of man is envy. It often manifests itself in hostility and dislike for a man who has reached great heights. Alien well-being overshadows the mind of the envious person and introduces a constant state of discontent with oneself and with one's own wealth.

Cruelty

A terrible vice, which is inherent in rapists, murderers and other criminal persons. He expresses himself in desire or need to cause pain to all living beings (not only humans, but also animals). They hurt not only on the physical side, for example, beatings, but also with psychological ones - sometimes the moral pressure is much more difficult to transfer ... If the object of cruelty is bad, the tormentor experiences satisfaction and some semblance of joy.

Malice

Considering human vices, you should not ignore the anger. Some people are angry at everyone and everything, they are irritable, often foul and rude.

Cunning

The next vice is cunning (today it is also considered by some people in a positive sense). This means that a person can so contrive and contrive that he receives for himself the maximum benefit often to the detriment of others.

Selfishness

Some overestimation of the importance of one's own person in comparison with others. It can be expressed in a disdainful attitude to other people, to their interests.

Impudence

Another vice of man, which manifests itself in contempt, contempt for the interlocutor. Can be accompanied by rough gestures, abusive speech. This behavior is typical of types that feel their impunity and superiority.

Vanity

It is a person's desire to attract attention in any way, even if it is negative behavior. Such characters like to hear eulogies in their address, they wish to climb a pedestal already during their lifetime. This is often the case with empty braggarts.

Opposites

It should be said that all this is the acquired vices. A person is born tabula rasa - a clean board on which the nearest entourage (parents and society) write their own, as they say today, reviews. In adulthood, a person can get rid of all his vices and turn them into virtues.
