From an early age, he felt the influence of the spiritual world with a higher presence, but at the same time showed a research interest in everything that surrounded him. At the age of five, trying to independently connect the donated railway to the electric grid, Gregg Braden received a serious electric shock and experienced his first near-death experience. The second was at school age, when he almost drowned in the pool. Recalling both these cases, the writer says that, on the verge of death, he felt the presence of certain essences that gave him the right to choose to stay on Earth or go with them. In one of his interviews, Braden, recalling these cases, suggested that in addition to his love of physics, history and geology, he was inspired by this childhood experience of acquaintance with another world.

Gregg Braden was born on June 28, 1954, from an early age he was interested in the science of Earth, so he did not think much about choosing a profession after graduating from college. He was educated as a geologist, engineer and physicist. In the seventies, as a serious specialist in these and computer fields, he made a successful career in Phillips Petroleum. During the cold war at Martin Marietta, he became a senior developer of defense, computerized systems for the US Air Force. Then he worked in the space industry. In 1991, Gegg Braden was promoted to first technical director at Cisco Systems, a company specializing in high technology. In addition to the above, he was engaged in scientific activities, lectured, conducted seminars. His research trips around the world and archaeological excavations in search of the lost truth, knowledge, traditions and history the scientist began in 1986. Now he has completely devoted himself to this work and in his books he tries to share with the reader what he managed to learn, understand and scientifically substantiate.

It is known that much of the oldest information was lost after the fire at the Alexandria Library. Much later, during the reign of the Roman Emperor Constantine, at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD it was decided to remove forty-five ancient texts from historical chronicles. They reflected the ancient knowledge of the structure of the universe and the connection of mankind with it, but the emperor and the high priests found this information dangerous, because it was much easier to manage people ignorant. Only on the basis of the remaining texts was the Bible compiled. So mankind has lost a significant part of knowledge about its history, religion, languages, traditions and interaction with the surrounding world.

Researchers visited more than fifteen holy monasteries on the central plateau and the highlands of Tibet, as well as a monastery in the Himalayas at an altitude of five thousand meters. Having communicated with the monks, the scientists managed to find out that they store in their libraries a lot of Buddhist, Christian and pre-Christian manuscripts, in particular, some of those forty-five, which, because of the information contained in them, were removed from the historical chronicles at the Nicaea Cathedral.
