GEF second generation primary school: what has changed?

The fact that primary school is an important stage in the student's life is an indisputable fact. Many parents, and what to hide, teachers still recently believed that the most important thing at this stage is to teach the child to count, write and read. Checking the success of the student was in how well he learned the skills and skills given him by the teacher.

But since 2010, the situation has changed, as in the territory of Russia in all schools began to operate GEF second generation, primary school first took part in this experiment. The main difference between these standards from the previous ones is the orientation, mainly on the personal development of the schoolboy and instilling in him the skills of practical application of knowledge.

First and foremost, teachers who have adopted the GEF second-generation primary school, use in their activity approach, that is, learning, built on the acquisition of knowledge by solving scientific-cognitive or practical problems. The verification of knowledge will now be carried out not in the usual way, in which it is necessary to solve something, write or read, these standards are designed to determine how well the child is able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice, which is of no small importance both for further education in secondary and higher schools, And for the future life in general.

Another important point is the increase in the student's employment during after-hours. A few hours a week are spent on additional education . This does not mean that children who are already attending circles should drop them and do only what the teacher will say. This requirement applies to those students who are not doing anything in their free time, and allows parents not to worry about where their child spends time. Thus, the GEF second-generation primary school allows the student to develop his talents or simply do what he likes.

In accordance with the modernization of education, a new program called "Perspective Primary School" appeared, the GEF in which it was put into practice. This is one of the best sets of textbooks to date, which almost completely meets the modern requirements for the knowledge of students.

Before starting to work on this program, teachers will take special courses. The new standards will also help to increase the material base of schools. The offices should additionally be equipped with new technologies, which now, unfortunately, is not observed everywhere, especially when it comes to rural schools.

For teachers, the thematic planning "Perspective Primary School" has been specially designed , which facilitates the task of preparing classes for this kit. The principal difference of this program is the orientation, to a greater extent, on the independent work of students. If the teacher had previously been ready to "invest" in the heads of students, now the students need to gain knowledge themselves, thus activating cognitive activities and increasing motivation for learning.

It can be concluded that the GEF of the second generation primary school already successfully applies in practice, and you can observe the first results of this. Many parents are afraid of such standards, mostly because they themselves learned differently, and it is quite difficult for them to reorganize into another way of teaching or is hampered by conservatism. However, children of the present time should be mobile, ready for change, and in any situation should be able to find a worthy way out. To develop these qualities, new standards have been sent that began to operate in the school. In addition to basic knowledge, it is important to develop the personal qualities of the child, so that later he could well navigate the surrounding reality.
