Far Eastern salad from sea kale: recipe

Salad is one of the favorite dishes from which it is useful to start lunch and dinner, without it there is not a single festive feast.

There are many recipes for cooking this dish. Salads can be vegetable, fruit, meat and fish, low-calorie and vitamin-nutritious.

The set of products for them varies depending on the taste preferences of the cook, the national features of the kitchen, the products available, and the desired effect. The usefulness of a dish depends on its ingredients.

One of the most useful products in the composition of salads is kelp, or sea kale.

Sea kale: good and bad

Sea kale is an alga of kelp, the thickets for industrial harvesting are found in the Japanese, Okhotsk, Kara and White seas.

This plant has a rich content of trace elements, vitamins, organic acids. One of the main beneficial properties of kelp is the high content of iodine. Also in the sea kale are bromine, potassium, magnesium, iron.

The composition of the plant determines its usefulness in many diseases. Regular use of sea kale promotes:

  • Strengthen the cardiovascular system and heart muscle;

In cooking, we use algae in fresh, frozen and dried form.

Salad "Far East" with pickled cucumbers

For the preparation of a simple salad of sea kale, you will need:

  • Sea kale - five hundred grams fresh.
  • Carrots - two pieces.
  • Cucumber is salty - three or four pieces.
  • Bulb - one large or two small.
  • Sunflower oil - six tablespoons.
  • Salt food - to taste.
  • Vinegar 6% - two teaspoons.

Laminaria thoroughly rinse, then put in a pan of water, put on fire and cook for fifteen minutes. Water to drain. Algae pour a new portion of water and boil for about fifteen or twenty minutes. Again, drain the water, fill the kelp with a new portion of water and boil for the third time.

Seaweed is removed, cooled, cut into strips, pour vinegar.

Mix the vegetables and seaweed, salt to taste, season with vegetable oil.

This recipe can be changed: instead of pickled cucumbers take fresh, season with salad mayonnaise or dressing from mustard and vegetable oil.

Recipe for salad from sea kale with crab sticks

There are many varieties of salad "Far East", it all depends on the additives to kelp.

In one of the recipes, crab sticks are included in the salad of sea kale "Far East".

Ingredients:

  • Sea kale - three hundred grams (marinated) or fresh.
  • Egg - four or five pieces.
  • Crab sticks - two hundred grams.
  • Onions are one large.
  • Mayonnaise - to taste.

Onion peeled, peeled, chopped finely.

Eggs boil, chill, peel, cut into cubes.

Crab sticks cut into cubes.

If the cabbage is canned, then open the jar.

If you take fresh kelp, then it must first boil three times (as in the previous recipe), season with vinegar and salt.

Combine algae with prepared foods, season with mayonnaise.

Variant of salad "Far East": crab sticks or squid

  • Laminaria - 400 grams.
  • Crab sticks - 200 grams, or squid (canned jar for salad).
  • Garlic - 2 cloves.
  • Eggs - 5 pieces.
  • Dill - 1 bunch.
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces.
  • Mayonnaise.

Cut tomatoes, eggs, crab sticks (or squid) into cubes.

Wash the dill, finely chopped.

If the cabbage is canned, then open the jar.

If the kelp is fresh, then prepare according to the first recipe.

Mix all the ingredients, season with mayonnaise, salt to taste.

Salad is ready to serve on the table.

Recipe for salad "Far East" (without additives)

Such a dish is easy to prepare at home.

This will require products:

  • Sea kale - 500 grams of fresh or frozen.
  • Onions are one piece.
  • Sunflower oil - four tablespoons or to taste.
  • Salt - one tablespoon.
  • Sand sugar - to taste.
  • Black pepper bitter and sweet peas.
  • The Bay leaf is three pieces.
  • The vinegar essence is 9% - one tablespoon.

In a large pot, pour water (about four liters), put on fire, put a few peas of sweet and bitter pepper, salt, acetic essence, bay leaf into water.

Onion peeled, washed under a stream of cold water, cut into thin strips, pour boiling water.

In chilled sea kale put the chopped onion, sugar to taste, season with sunflower oil and ordinary vinegar (you can apple). All the mix well. It is desirable to cool the prepared salad before serving.

This recipe produces a salad that resembles the taste of Far Eastern.
