Each cartoon animation studio Aardman is recognized almost from the first frame, except for the animation tape "The Secret Service of Santa Claus." The fact is that the production of the studio is distinguished by the original graphic style and painstaking work during the creation of each frame. Virtually all of Aardman Animations' creations are made exclusively from plasticine and after being shot in stop motion. Usually for the release of one cartoon, artists are engaged in preparatory work for more than half a year: stucco decorations and assembly of models.

Start

The adventurous and brave little sheep appeared on the screen in 1995. This character was born to the light thanks to the "plasticine" British animator Nick Park, who coined it for the third short film about the adventures of Gromit and Wallace, entitled "Haircut" to zero. " Only after 12 years, the character from the background turned into the main one and got his own TV series "Shag Shin", one series of which was released in 2007.

Successful and long-playing

In addition to a decent list of full-length works, the studio has television series: the unconventional "Angry Boy" and the bold "In the Animal World" with Lip Sync. However, the most successful and long-running project of Aardman is the animated film "Barashka Shon". In four seasons, more than 130 series were combined, each for 7 minutes. Plot

"Shawn Sheep" in Russian retains its original mentality and originality. His story translation is absolutely not distorted. There, the farmer gets into a psychiatric hospital, but then becomes a famous and popular hairdresser, although she cuts the customers with a typewriter, like the usual sheep. Soon, his image is adorned with all the billboards of the metropolis, and Banksy is devoting him graffiti on the unpainted brick walls (this moment is especially emphasized by the spectators' reviews). Sheep Shaun, freed together with her entire herd from the master's dictatorship, together with other animals, settles down the farmer's house. Animals are entertained to their fullest: they arrange spiritualistic sessions and violent parties with damage to property. But the fun can not go on forever, and, having savored the pleasure, the inhabitants of the farm are beginning to miss the owner. They decide to go in search of him. Under the leadership of Sean and the dog Bitzer, the animals are resolutely sent to Big City, where the team at every step lies in wait for dangers and adversities, among which is a decisively set up service for trapping stray animals.

Extremely funny

"Sheep Shawn 5" turned out to be original, funny, outstanding and sentimentally charming. The plot of the animation tape is very dynamic, every minute something happens. Every detail is verified and lovingly fashioned, put in its place. Gestures of characters are characteristic. All together it's funny, touching, and sometimes dramatic. Noticeably, as Mark Burton wittily sneers at a significant number of original series. After all, according to the scenario, all the inhabitants of the farm are completely terribly tired of the routine, the repetitive weekdays are categorically boring for everyone without exception. Attempts to leave native penates were observed in some episodes of the animated series "Shag Shin" (season 3), but after a series of comic adventures the animals returned without having had time to go far.

Innovation is impossible

At this stage of development, the production industry of animated films has reached a fairly high level, in which innovation is impossible. All animated tapes use tested, proven techniques, standard scenario moves, and computer graphics in the projects of leading studios do not cease to amaze. However, in this case, nothing completely new, "kryshesnosnogo" like the "Corporation of Monsters" or the cult "King of the Lion" has long been rented. Pixar sequels "City of Heroes" and "How to Train the Dragon-2" are not turned upside down on the industry. Aardman, who previously had one flagship - "Wallace and Gromit", released a masterpiece of British humor. As the viewers say, "Shaun's Sheep" is a cartoon that you want to review repeatedly. Funny gags, relevant jokes, comical antics of characters encourage the viewer to sincerely burst into happy laughter from the first minutes of the timing to the extremely sentimental climax and a somewhat tense denouement. Success counting

Cartoon "Shrug Shaun" as a comedy takes a lot from the sources of cinematography - mute paintings, in which all actors had to transmit the gestures and facial expressions of what is happening and the emotions of the characters. Although the animators of the project had to be even more difficult: instead of plastic and texture actors, they had to work with sheep, whose figures are generally quite inexpressive. And most animals do not have eyebrows, but, as you know, it's the easiest way to show emotions. But the result of the work is amazing - all the characters are convincing, and at the climax they manage to play an impressive dramatic scene in front of the audience (this is evidenced by the reviews). "Shaun the Sheep" many critics call miscalculated successfully, as the plot is simplified, the scenario moves are far from new, and the whole structure of the narrative is similar to the anthology of the previous Aardman creations for children of primary school age. So nothing new, no opus magnum happened. It's a pity, but the full-length film did not become the next milestone in the development of industry and genre.

The full-length version, as was noted, has several references to the series "The Shaun's Sheep" (season 3). Namely: it is not burdened with various kinds of "literature" and from the first to the last frame it was built at the expense of cinematographic resources (editing, gags, plastic - everything is filled with "Aardman's" meaning). By the way, all plasticine characters and scenery are made so smoothly and smoothly that a modern child can easily take them for computer 3D. Although, if you look closely, in some places the fingerprints of the creators appear, like symbolic seals of authenticity.

Musical accompaniment

The feeling of a miracle and happiness is doubled in the "Shaun the Sheep Baronet" by the composer Ilan Eshkery. The title soundtrack appears as if by accident, and then disappears quickly and unexpectedly.
