A snack cake for a festive table or homemade dinner.

In the traditional sense cake is a confectionery product with a sweet taste. But the inventive mistresses came up with their own recipe for the dish, giving it a similar name. A snack cake is similar to its namesake, except in appearance. Its taste can be fish, vegetable, meat or cheese. Everything depends on desire and imagination. Today I will share a couple of recipes that have already become quite popular due to the simplicity of the performance and the wonderful taste.

"Napoleon"

A cake cake can be prepared in various ways. Someone uses ready-made cakes or dough. Others prefer to do everything from "from" and "to" independently. We will choose the second method and try to cook a cake diner, as they say, from scratch.

So, what do we need to make the cakes? Egg raw in an amount of 1 piece, margarine - 250 g (pre-frozen), sugar - a full spoon of a dining room, sour cream in the volume of 1 cup, flour - 2.5 stacks. And soda (a couple of small pinches), slaked with lemon acid or vinegar.

In the filling to our cake we take 4 eggs (hard-boiled cooked), hard cheese (grated previously less), 100 grams of canned fish (tuna, salmon) in its own juice and mayonnaise (take more packaging at once). Since the taste of the dish is almost entirely dependent on the last product, I do not advise you to save on it.

Now let's start preparing the dough. To do this, margarine is as small as possible. It is best to rub it on a grater or chop it with a knife. Add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough with your hands as carefully as possible.

The most difficult thing in making cakes is to roll out a thin layer of dough. To make things go more fun, put it on the top shelf of the refrigerator for about twenty minutes. After that, divide the piece into five parts. The last cake we will use to decorate our snack cake "Napoleon", so it can be done and smaller.

Preheat the oven to the optimum temperature of 190-200 degrees. We put the cake on the baking tray and put it on for four minutes. In ready form, it should resemble lavash in the degree of browning.

Each layer of our cake will be with individual stuffing. Therefore, we will prepare three bowls, one of which will be cheese. In another we chop the fish from the jar, draining the juice from it. In the third we cut the eggs. Each portion of the filling will be mixed with mayonnaise. Let's slip each layer and let the cake be infused and soaked for 4-5 hours in the cold.

Today many women (and men too) observe a diet. And while the mayonnaise is strictly forbidden to use in any form. For this occasion, I offer you your own recipe for the filling of arugula, chicken ham and low-fat cottage cheese. If desired, you can add basil, parsley and other favorite herbs here.

To start, we cut the handcuffs and ham less. In cottage cheese we add salt, pepper and a little tomato for taste. All this is mixed and used as a stuffing. Such a snack cake at the waist will noticeably less than the previous version in mayonnaise filling.

Autumn is the time for vegetables and fruits, and we can not bypass this fact. Agree that in these months we cook light vegan dishes more often and more willingly than in winter. So we suggest you pamper your family and guests with a delicious and satisfying puff pastry from zucchini.

It will require an average caliber zucchini, eggs - 3 pcs., Flour and milk for 0.5 st, pepper red Bulgarian (large, fleshy pod), a pair of dense tomatoes. And, of course, salt, greens, pepper ground and any oil. It is preferable to fry on olive, but in the absence of such it is possible to use sunflower, mustard, corn.

Surely, one of you already had to cook pancakes from courgettes. So, the basis of the cake is the same, only the size is bigger.

Marrow my, clean, remove seeds and three on a grater. Excess juice drain and drive in there eggs. Then add the flour, salt and a little bit of soda. Pepper finely chopped and added to the dough. We mix everything thoroughly. We heat the oil in a skillet with a thick bottom, pour the ladle dough and fry every pancake on both sides.

In a bowl stir the cheese, crushed garlic and sour cream, add salt. Tomatoes are cut into thin slices. For each layer, put first tomatoes, then a lot of cheese. We decorate the top with greenery. We use a syringe with a confectioner's edge to apply the cream. Masters who own the art of carving, can decorate their product with intricate flowers made from tomatoes.
