Young specialists: how to properly sew documents

A large amount of documents is available in any organization. Not all of them need firmware. For beginners, this operation can be completely incomprehensible and unfamiliar. So let's figure out how to properly stitch documents, and why, in general, it is necessary.

Firmware must be done in each organization. This procedure provides protection and secure storage of documents. A definite algorithm, according to which it strictly must be performed, does not exist. Each organization and different authorities have their own requirements.

For the firmware you need: documents, a needle with nylon threads (or twine), scissors, glue, hard cardboard cover and a seal. Then follow the instructions on how to properly stitch the documents.

Step 1. Preparatory stage. Before sewing, you need to carefully inspect all documents and remove from them metal objects (staples, clips).

Step 2. Decompose the documentation in a specific sequence.

Step 3. Then in the upper right corner number the sheets, but not the pages. If there is information on the paper from the back side, the numbering is done separately. A set of schemes or cards consisting of several sheets, count for one. After this action is carried out, the exact number should be noted on the reverse side of the gluing.

Step 4. Now we'll figure out how to properly stitch the documents. On the left side of the center of the fields, you need to make 3 to 5 holes in the vertical direction, so you can view the documents. This can be done with the help of a binding machine, sewed or drilled with a drill or pierced in parts exactly with a punch.

Step 5. Pass the thread or twine through the holes in two layers.

Step 6. The ends are directed from the middle hole with the turn of the sheet and fix the knot. Leave a free piece of thread 6 centimeters long.

Step 7. Put on the paper size 4x5 centimeters data: the number of numbered sheets, the date of the firmware. The person responsible for the documents must legibly sign. After that, the seal of the organization is printed.

Step 8. Stick the paper so that it covers the knot.

Step 9. Next, the manager or another authorized employee assures the gluing. Print must fall on the label and part of the sheet.

Terms of storage

According to the law, enterprises are obliged to ensure the safety of primary securities for a certain or very long period.
