Sewer installation in a country house

Recently, the inhabitants of a modern village are striving for the improvement of their homes, and not the last place in this is the installation of sewage. As for the construction of cottages, this is the stage of work, laid down even when designing a house.

How to start the sewage system

Ideally, it is considered that the sewage system in a country house should start with a project. This will significantly simplify some stages of work, and will also help determine the cost estimate. If the sewerage system is maintained in the operated house, then at least it is necessary to outline its scheme with the planned pipeline for water disposal. The device of the canalization of a country house implies the work of an internal character (the system of sewerage inside the premises) and external, i.e. The construction of a cesspool or a septic tank, and the supply of sewage pipes to the pit. If there is a centralized sewerage system in the residential sector, this makes the task easier, and the external work is limited only to sewage pipes along the trench from house to collector.

Sewer installation inside the house

To this end, according to the scheme, pipe laying begins in places where water is used. Pipes for draining water from the sink, bathtub or shower should correspond to a diameter of 50 cm, and the sewage pipes connected to the toilet bowl leading to the septic tank must be at least 110 cm. The incline angle of the sewage system should be from 2 to 5 degrees, this will allow Water to go into the pit by gravity. It happens that the bathroom is below the level of the sewage outlet, in which case it is necessary to install a pump to force the sewage outlet into the septic tank.

Works on the external sewerage system

First of all, it is necessary to find out whether there is a source of drinking water or a water supply system nearby.

The second point is to determine the amount of dirty water formation. It depends on the number of people living in the house.

The third task is to decide which type of sewer is more convenient for you: a cesspool, a septic tank, a metal or plastic tank buried beneath the ground.

The cesspool can be constructed of reinforced concrete rings, it is possible to fill the walls with concrete independently, having installed the formwork and the fittings. There is a more simple and budgetary option - to weld a metal frame from a corner or pipes and to get slate sheets for it. The bottom of the pit is laid with gravel to filter the water, which gradually will go to the ground if it is sandy or sandy loamy. If you plan to install a container in which liquid will accumulate, then the services of the sewer machine will have to be used more often. A septic tank is a more complicated system, but it meets the requirements of the SES aimed at preserving the environment and avoiding sewage sludge. Usually it is made from three to four compartments, when water, falling into one compartment, settles and flows into another, where it is filtered out and falls into the third. After the final cleaning, it meets the requirements, and it can be used for irrigation. Alternatively, there is another method of water purification - bacteria, which, under sealed conditions, destroy all fats and organic substances.

In any case, the sewerage system requires both training in knowledge and the availability of all necessary materials.
