For the purpose of producing pebbles, different mineral rocks are used - gypsum, marble, quartzite, granite and others. Breeds, which are softer in structure, are easier to handle and better pelletized. The shape of the stones also depends on the original material used: three-dimensional stones are formed from the splinter, flat ones from the slabs. Pebbles, obtained by artificial finish, are unique and highly valued, as it is rarely seen in nature, and their values can reach tens of centimeters, but a couple of millimeters are possible.

Dimensions of river pebbles are different - from a couple of millimeters to 20 - 30 cm. More popular fractions are 5x20, 5x40 and 20x40 mm. As for the different quality properties, then the superiority of this stone is considered strength to the environment, durability, frost resistance, strength and environmental friendliness. Such quality as durability allows using this material where there is a huge stream of people, for example, in public gardens.

Such an option as decorative pebbles does not have a harmful effect on the environment, including on the human body. Even, on the contrary, it has antibacterial medicinal features. An exceptionally important feature of the building material is inertness, in other words the possibility of the material interacting with the chemical elements of other materials. The key constituents of pebbles are iron oxide, calcium carbonate and silica. The tone of the stone depends precisely on the chemical composition and on the kind of rocks from which it is composed. The coloring can be flint, ashy, light gray, including marsh. Among all of the above, the highest physical and mechanical features are brown and dark brown pebbles. Decorative pebble can also be used to produce a unique mosaic or tile. Tiles made in this way, serve incredibly long and in different conditions. The marine type of this material is ground by the action of marine coastal waves in a varying degree of fragmentation of rocks from 1 to 10 cm in diameter.

It can have a flatter shape than, for example, a river stone. On the Black Sea, this material captures vast areas, which is extracted openly. Unlike natural granite, pebbles have a difficult metamorphic structure, due to which it is considered to be the strongest, durable and very resistant to natural influences material. It is very similar to a natural stone and has a considerable variety of sizes and types, as well as an extensive range of tones. The application of the Black Sea pebble is also extensive: in the design of the landscape, for paving sidewalks, as well as for interior decoration of premises (facing walls, arches, walls in the shower, bathroom, etc.).
