There are dishes that are not suitable for everyday meals, are distinguished by refinement and zest. One of these dishes is pork with pineapple. It can be served on the festive table. Believe me, guests and relatives will surprise you! Despite the simple name, pork in pineapple is quite difficult to prepare.

Start cooking this dish you need with the preparation of meat. A piece of pork, preferably a neck, must be marinated. Marinade at the rate of 1 kg of meat is the same as if you marinated pork on shish kebabs. It is necessary: 1 cup of vinegar, as much water, 3-4 onions, salt, pepper, sugar and bay leaf. Meat must be cut into portions. Onions are cut into half rings and mixed with meat. Then everything is poured with marinade and left in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours. Pork with pineapple is prepared in the future without onions, so it can not be cut beautifully, as on a table, but simply for taste.

Usually pork with pineapple in the oven is more common than it is, but cooked on the stove. We will consider both versions of the preparation.

The first way is pork in pineapple, cooked on the stove. This will require a pan, but not enameled. At the bottom of the pot is laid onions from the marinade (then it is not necessary to add to the general dish), then the raw carrots are laid, grinding on a small grater, then pieces of pork are put. All this is watered by the marinade itself, but not all, we use about ½ of it. The pan is put on medium heat and covered with a lid. So the meat should be stewed for about 1 hour. Next you need to add pineapple. This is done in such a way - that pork with pineapple is juicy and absorbed all the juice, pineapples should be laid not on the meat from above, but under it. That is, you lift each piece of pork and put a circle of pineapple under it. In this form, the pork under the lid is stewed for about 30 minutes. Next, the fire turns off, and the meat should be infused for another 20 minutes. Everything, it is ready to serve. You can serve a dish with meat to your taste, but be sure to put on each piece of meat from that circle of pineapple on which it lay. This will not only give a beautiful and interesting look to the dish, but the pineapple juice will still be present on the meat.

The second way is pork with pineapple in the oven. Here the cooking process is a bit simpler, there is no consistency, everything is laid simultaneously. Foil is spread on the baking tray. On the foil you need to lay out the meat in this form - a layer of onions, then a layer of carrots, pineapple circles, top meat. Next on the meat you need to put pineapples on top again. The foil needs to be wrapped, having well sealed the edges. Thus, the pork will be wrapped with pineapple and soak up their juice in the best way possible. In this form, the meat should be baked for 1 hour at a temperature of 180 degrees. After that, the foil will need to be unwrapped, clean the top layer of pineapples, so they do not burn out and put the meat in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. This is done to ensure that the meat has acquired an appetizing ruddy crust. And if the pineapples are not removed - they just burn and spoil not only the appearance of the dish, but also its flavor. Some mistresses simply pull the meat out of the foil and put it in the oven separately for 10 minutes. We do not recommend doing this because in 10 minutes meat becomes much drier than if left in marinade and foil, but with an open top.

It does not matter which way you choose to make such a delicious dish, like pork with pineapple. If everything is done according to a prescription, you should get the tenderest meat with a light aroma and a taste of pineapple. Do not forget, putting it on the table, put pineapples on top.
