How to write a story about insects?

Who did not write essays at school? Everyone wrote, everyone remembers these insistent exclamations of the teacher: "We give leaflets!", "Five minutes before the end of the lesson!", "Soon the call!" And almost everyone fiercely hates the very word "composition".

Why is this happening?

It's all about rigorous assessments, red ink, teacher's comments and, of course, time limitations. And even a dearly beloved story is rewarded with a lot of red blots and remarks from the evil teacher: not that, not so, so you can not write.

And what about writing works now?

Now children write a lot of essays in almost every lesson. For example, on the theme "The World around". The story about insects is asked to write often, and every schoolboy will have to face it.

If your child was suddenly asked to write a story about a ladybug or a description of a butterfly, then do not panic. In this article, you will find a short guide on how to write stories about insects for children. And not only about insects, after all, these tips can be used for almost any essay or essay.

Six points of tranquility

In order to avoid any problems when writing essays, the child needs to explain the following things:

  1. He should not be afraid to express his opinion. Even if it is different from what the teacher thinks, classmates, best friend or parents.
  2. You will love your child even if he has filled up the work and made a heap of mistakes in every word. Yes, you will be upset by this, but your attitude towards him will not change.
  3. During the explanation of the assignment (whether it is the task to write a small story about insects, to solve an example, or simply write something off the board), you need to listen carefully to the teacher, and not be distracted by friends, birds outside the window or phone.
  4. Do not be afraid to ask questions and clarify incomprehensible details. It is better to find out the task more thoroughly than to do it incorrectly and then to rewrite it.
  5. With any problem (it can be a rough screaming teacher, a pen that has not run out of time or an annoying neighbor on the desk), your child can always turn to you. Also, in any case, he can try to explain why he refused to perform the task, did it badly or did not do it as required.
  6. Do not rush when writing a composition, because haste, oddly enough, only slows down the task. If the child does not manage to finish it, then he can always come to the teacher after the lesson and ask him to finish the story later. If this is not possible, then you can ask to finish at home or just to warn that you did not complete the task.

By the way, almost all of the above points are tied to a conversation between the parent and the child. Remember that communication is the most important part of a happy family!

Story about insects: write in class

So if your child understands what was written before, he should not be nervous if he has to write an essay in the class.

If the job was announced in advance, you can conduct training at home: pick up materials, view necessary information about insects, roughly draw up a plan for the future story and so on.

You can also take with you to school an atlas or an encyclopedia devoted to the theme of writing. Colorful pictures will stimulate the imagination of the child, and the information in the collection can help him write a good story about the ladybug, for example.

If the essay is announced suddenly, right during the lesson, then those six points of tranquility should come to the rescue. After all, the child will just try to diligently perform the task, rather than worry because of a bad mark or the appropriate reaction of the parents.

Story on the topic of insects: we write at home

At home, of course, and the walls help. The advantage of writing stories at home is several factors:

  • There is no pressure from the teacher.
  • Great time frame.
  • There is an opportunity to climb on the Internet or in the atlas to look at insects and correctly write a story about a butterfly, for example.
  • Can help parents or older brothers and sisters.
  • You can sit and think about the story as much as you want, bringing the works to perfection.

The only drawback in writing the work of the house is that you can relax and completely forget about the assignment. In order to avoid such unpleasant situations, you can either do homework right after coming home, or put an alarm-reminder. Another child may ask parents to remind him of the assignment, which will be the best option.

A few tricks that will help write a job

It is very important to decide how the future story should look. The composition can be written in three ways:

  • In the form of a story-memories. In this case, the child should describe any case that occurred with him with the participation of an insect. For example, if a kid writes a story about a ladybug, then the mention of how he found it in the winter in the apartment is appropriate. What she did and how she looked. The story about the butterfly can contain a memory of a village or country house, where many different bright beauties.

  • In the form of description-reflection. Here the child will need to select a particular insect and simply describe it: how it looks, where it lives, what it does, and so on. Also in these stories it is recommended to indicate a personal opinion: "I like butterflies, because ..." "I do not like spiders, because ..." "I think that centipedes are beautiful, because ..." and in the same spirit .
  • In the form of a work of art. For example, a child chooses a butterfly and writes about how she walked, what happened to her during the walk, and how she reacted to it. This method requires the greatest connectivity of the imagination, because, in fact, a real little tale is written. And such a work of art has two subspecies.
  • Art fiction. Here butterflies can jump, ants fly, and insect dwellings are more like ordinary apartments. An example is the familiar fable "Dragonfly and the Ant" - the purest invention. However, with this kind of story you should be more careful, because it is unlikely that the teacher will appreciate the flight of the child's fantasy when it was asked to write a short story-description of one particular insect.
  • Artistic playing of the real. The meaning of this story is that the properties and characteristics of a real insect are taken and neatly intertwined in the composition. Butterfly, for example, can boast about its wings and talk about how she dreamed of them in those days when she was still a caterpillar. The same ant can modestly mention how he alone dragged a heavy leaf from the tree to his home, into an anthill. There are a lot of options for playing out the qualities of insects.

A few more ways to write

From a third party. In this story there are no "I", "we", "you", if this is not a direct speech. Usually these stories are descriptions without expressing one's own opinion. Example: " It is a beetle, the beetle is green and very large, it crawls along a branch and drags a leaf behind it."

A story about insects from the first person: I am the author. This refers to essay-reflections, descriptions of cases from life or memories. This can also be the above story-description with a small addition: " This is a beautiful beetle, the beetle is green and very large, it crawls along a branch and drags a leaf behind it." I think it's very hard for him. "

From the first person: I am a beetle. This item refers to works of art. It can be an adventure story from the face of a butterfly, a description of yourself-beloved from a beetle and stuff.

As a conclusion

Writing a story is a creative process, and it should always bring pleasure. In the event that it becomes a heavy duty and an unpleasant duty, according to the opinion of teachers and writers, the soul suffers.

It is not so important how good the child's story will be, since the main thing is that he felt at the time of creation. And, if this process has brought him pleasure, then with due zeal, the kid will someday be able to become an outstanding writer!
