How to recognize pepper diseases in greenhouses
Wishing to get an early harvest of vegetables, many put greenhouses. But the majority of the rules do not know about the rules of care for them, about the methods of preventing various diseases. But when an infection occurs, the likelihood that it will hit the entire planting in an enclosed greenhouse in the shortest possible time is great. In order to prevent diseases of pepper in greenhouses, first of all it is necessary to treat its walls, crossbeams, glass and even disinfect the soil - this is the prevention of infection.
In addition, before planting the seeds must be etched. In this way, a number of fungal, viral and bacterial infections that can affect plants can be prevented. For disinfection, a dark purple solution of potassium permanganate is used (it is made in this way: 1 g of crystals dissolve in a glass of hot water). Seeds should lie in it for about 30 minutes, after which they must be washed.
But even with such presowing preparation, it is not always possible to avoid problems, and pepper diseases in greenhouses are not uncommon. So, it happens that truck farmers notice on plants a white coating - this is the first sign of stem rot. To prevent the disease from spreading through the greenhouse, it is necessary to stop watering, begin to actively ventilate the greenhouses, remove all the leaves and stepchildren from the bush until the fork, and clean the raid with a cloth. All damaged areas must necessarily be treated with a solution of potassium permanganate and sprinkled with ashes.
Another infection, from which this plant suffers, is late blight. You can recognize this kind of pepper seedling disease if you carefully consider the leaves and fruits. They appear brown-brown spots, the affected peppercorns begin to rot. Fighting the disease is difficult, if the seeds have not been pre-etched. Though it is not necessary to despair, often to get rid of late blight the spraying by special means helps. And contributes to the development of this disease of pepper in the greenhouses excess air humidity combined with a sharp cooling in the night.
Also, plants can be affected by aphids or spider mites. To fight them enough to sprinkle seedlings with insecticides, which quickly decompose (suitable, for example, "Carbophos" or "Keltan").
