You can cook crackers in the oven from any bread. It does not matter whether it is white or black, fresh or the day before yesterday. The only condition when using stale bread, so that it does not have mold marks.

So, how to make crunches in the oven? Bread is cut into cubes. If we plan to use crackers in salads, then we make small cubes. If we intend to simply eat them, then it's better to make cubes with a face of about 2-2.5 cm. While we cut the bread, turn the oven on for warming up, setting the thermostat 180 degrees. Pour the bread cubes on a baking tray, put in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Time depends on how much crunchy and ruddy croutons you want to get. So cook simple crackers, but to make their taste more interesting, you can use a variety of condiments.

For example, if it is decided to cook spicy rusks in the oven, then before you send the baking tray with bread cubes in the oven, they should be sprinkled with fine salt, black pepper, dry paprika or curry. Seasonings can be chosen according to your taste. But if you plan to make sweet crackers for tea, then sugar powder (you can mix it with vanilla sugar or cinnamon) you need to sprinkle ready-made crackers, immediately, as they get out of the oven.

And you can show your imagination and cook fragrant garlic crumbs in the oven, which you can serve to Ukrainian borscht instead of traditional pampushkas. Half the loaf of white (or black, as you like) bread will require about half a glass of vegetable oil. It is best, of course, to take olive, but this is also a matter of taste. Oil pour into the bowl, there also squeeze a couple of cloves of garlic, pour dried herbs and put salt. Dried greens can be any - dill, parsley, basil. And you can take a ready mix, for example, "Provencal herbs" or a set of Italian spices. In fragrant oil, we roll bread pieces (to make this dish, bread should not be cut too finely). We put the bread cubes on a baking tray and into the oven. Bake until they are browned and will not acquire the necessary firmness.

You can cook this snack with cheese. To do this, you need to almost ready crackers sprinkle with cheese, which you need to grate on the smallest grater, and send them to the oven for just a couple of minutes, so that the cheese begins to melt.

It must be said that dessert crackers are prepared not only from stale bread. Sweet crispy crackers in the oven, the recipe of which is given below, are baked as a cookie.
