The concept of "street art" is translated into Russian as "street art" and in a broad sense means the creation of art objects directly on the streets of cities.

How does street art work? Photo, anime, comics, portraits of celebrities, current events in the world - all this does not remain without attention of street artists. Plots of art objects, localized on the streets in all parts of the Earth, are extremely diverse. The only thing that unites them is the opportunity to bring the idea to the widest circle of people. Therefore, the artist has such a responsibility, because he creates art for the masses. And it finds a response in the hearts of the townspeople. Today museums are opened all over the world, festivals, meetings of the best masters and simple lovers of urban beauty are held.

How is street art done?

Artists know that sooner or later the idea will take possession of the heart and thoughts completely, so much that it is unbearable to remain inactive. This means that it's time to pick up the paint and go to the street. Even those who have long ceased to consider themselves a beginner know that any healthy person is scared to start. This fear is normal. And in something even necessary. The main thing is to overcome it in time and decide on the fulfillment of the idea. One of the most important tools of a street artist is not a spray and not a brush, but a sense of humor, a generous dose of healthy irony and sarcasm, devoid of obsession and impudence. It is humor that makes it possible to achieve the effect when everyone sees and discusses the work itself, and not whether it was possible to do something on this wall. No less than the correct attitude, technical means are also important. Artists have a rule: to take with them twice as much as necessary. Then they are enough. And professionals joke that the best remedy for the views and distracting questions of curious is the phrase: "We shoot a movie." As a rule, after such idlers, artists are left alone.

A little bit about street artists

And now about those who, thanks to talent, a share of adventurism, a sense of humor, gained world fame. However, "fame" is not quite the word. After all, it often happens that the creation of the master is seen by millions of people, the glory of it is spread all over the world, and nobody really knows anything about the artist himself. Approximately this happened with Banksy from London. His famous "Naked" (pictured) is glorified throughout the world. And all that was known about the master - a short pseudonym. Now Banksy comes out of the shadows, participates in international projects, travels the world. One of the fans of his talent is Angelina Jolie.

Portuguese Alexander Farto (Vhils) amazes the imagination of the public with incredible stories, huge amounts of work, intricate intertwining of many small details. A peculiar piece of the artist is a partial mechanical impact on the surface. One of his "autographs" is in Moscow.

The Californian Above creates on a theme of a policy, society, culture. His work can be found in more than fifty countries in the world. In the photo - the work "First Love".

Portuguese artist Peter Roa also likes to travel. He draws black and white images of animals. On one of the Moscow walls are painted the proteins written by him. But this giraffe settled in Africa.

Our contemporary and compatriot from Simferopol in just a few months gained world fame. Someone with a pseudonym Sharik writes his street paintings, condemning the war and murders, showing the whole unpleasant side of the Ukrainian conflict. The works of Sharik can be seen in many cities of Crimea.

Nikita Nozz creates interesting images from buildings and structures. His work shocked, surprised and evokes a constant smile among residents of several cities of Russia.

Cyril Who can be considered in Russia as a cult. In several cities his exhibitions work, and he himself is one of the founders of the art museum of street art in St. Petersburg. One of its walls is decorated with a street artist's manifesto, made by Cyril.

Street Art Philosophy

Street artists make the black and white world in color, the faceless walls of the buildings are turned into works of art. But the main value of street art is not in its aesthetic aspect, but that thanks to it people think about the actual problems of the present, about eternal values and their role in this world.
