The filling is prepared from Japanese radish (daikon), one root of ginger, one head of garlic, red pepper (2 pods), celery root and onions. All these ingredients must be ground with a meat grinder and salt (2 large spoons). This mixture must be greased with cabbage leaves and put in a special container (it is better to use enameled dishes). The billet should be put under pressure for several days and then stored in the refrigerator.

Other methods of preparation

Other dishes with this vegetable are also interesting. For example, cabbage in Korean with apples is easy to prepare, and at the same time you can get a wonderful dish, not inferior to other sharp salads. To do this, half the head is cut into small pieces, salt and knead. Next, one carrot and a couple of medium-sized apples should be cleaned and "turned" into small straws. Cut finely half of a bunch of green onions. Give the juice of cabbage to squeeze and pour the dressing, which is prepared from vegetable oil (3 tablespoons), fruit vinegar (2 tablespoons), sugar (about 1 spoon) and salt. Add carrots, onions and apples.

Another recipe is known - Korean cabbage with ham and tomatoes. This salad can be done in the following way. Take one-fourth of the head of cabbage and red cabbage, this raw material must be crushed, salt and knead. Four boiled eggs cut into small strips. Cut the same number of tomatoes into thin and narrow slices. 300 grams of ham and 4 pcs. Pickled cucumber in cubes. All this must be mixed with prepared cabbage, add dill and season with 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
