There are situations when there is absolutely no time to invent something elegant, but I want everything to be delicious and at the same time quickly. In this case mackerel with potatoes in the oven is simply baked at the same time.

This will require a little:

2 carcasses of mackerel, a kilogram of potatoes, a bulb, 150 grams of mayonnaise, a little salt and 2-3 grams of ground pepper.

Mackerel with potatoes in the oven is not at all difficult:

  1. First, you need to separate the fish. To do this, it must be washed, freed from the entrails, and then separated from the fillets of bones. After this, it will only be possible to cut it into pieces of an arbitrary size.
  2. Peel the onions from the husk and cut into half rings.
  3. Purified potatoes will also need to be cut. These can be rings or brusochki. Who likes what.
  4. After this, the fish will need to marinate. To do this, it should be put in a bowl, add salt, sprinkle with onion and pepper, and then leave for 20 minutes.
  5. Now the products must be put together in a greased form, sprinkle with mayonnaise and mix.
  6. Put in the oven at 180 degrees.

Mackerel with potatoes in the oven is prepared quickly. After 45 minutes it can be taken out and handed to the table. If desired, 5 minutes before the end of the dish can be sprinkled with grated cheese. It will only decorate it and give a special flavor

Baking in foil

Products will require:

1 mackerel, 5 potatoes, 100 grams of hard cheese, half a teaspoon of cumin and oregano, a little salt, 70 grams of mini carrots, 150 milliliters of mayonnaise and a couple of teaspoons of spices for fish.

The cooking process begins with vegetables:

  1. Potatoes must be cleaned, and then cut into pieces. For this it is better to use a special knife. If it is not, you can take the pieces and the usual ones.
  2. Potatoes with carrots lightly fry in a frying pan for 3-5 minutes, adding 2 spoons of vegetable oil. The flame should be at the maximum.
  3. Cheese grind with a grater.
  4. Fish clean from the entrails and cut fins.
  5. On the table, spread a piece of foil and lay out prepared vegetables on it.
  6. Top the fish. Sprinkle it with salt and spices.
  7. Abundantly smear all mayonnaise.
  8. Add grated cheese and put in a little fish.
  9. The resulting construction is covered with a second sheet of foil, put on a baking tray and sent to the oven for 25 minutes. The temperature should be at least 200 degrees inside.
  10. After the due time, remove the top sheet, and leave the dish in the oven for another 25 minutes.

After the vegetables bloom, we can assume that the baked mackerel with potatoes is completely ready.

Gefilte fish

Preparing the product along with the garnish significantly reduces the time that the hostess spends cooking. On this occasion, you can offer another recipe for mackerel with potatoes.

To work in this case, the following ingredients are required:

800 grams of fish (about 2 pieces), 5 grams of salt, 35 grams of vegetable oil (can be replaced with two tablespoons of mayonnaise), 2 pinches of black pepper, 20 grams of carrots, onions and potatoes.

Sequence of preparation:

  1. Fish should be cleaned, and then remove the head (or at least cut the gills).
  2. Vegetables cut into any convenient way (straws, circles or bars).
  3. Carcase rubbed with salt, grease with oil (or mayonnaise) and sprinkle with pepper.
  4. Put a prepared mackerel on the foil sheet.
  5. Stuff it with vegetables, and spread the remains around.
  6. Fold the foil and lay the product on a baking tray.
  7. Send it to the oven, which must first be heated to 210 degrees.

After 30 minutes the dish will be completely ready.

Fish casserole

Those who do not know how to cook potatoes with mackerel, or who are just bored with already familiar recipes, you can advise making a casserole. The dish is relatively uncomplicated, but unusual and very tasty.

For its preparation it will be necessary to buy or prepare in advance:

1 kg of mackerel fillet 2 kilograms of potatoes, 2 fresh tomatoes, 200 grams of cheese, 30 grams of salt, half a teaspoon of fish seasoning, some black pepper and 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Now you can start cooking:

  1. Wash the fillet, dry it, and then cut into pieces 2 x 3 or 3 x 4 centimeters.
  2. Fold the product in a clean dish. Add salt, spices and leave for 20 minutes.
  3. Peel potatoes and cut into thin plates.
  4. Tomatoes chop, cut into half-lobules.
  5. Now put the products in layers on the pallet in such a sequence: potatoes - fish - tomatoes - potatoes.
  6. Lubricate everything with mayonnaise, and put grated cheese on top.
  7. Send the pan to the oven for 45 minutes.

As soon as the time runs out, you can safely remove the prepared dish, cut it into pieces and serve it on the table.
