Cooking pancakes with ham and cheese

As in pies, pancakes can be wrapped in a variety of fillings. For example, let's make delicious pancakes with ham and cheese.

For a start, we'll bake pancakes, because they are the basis of this dish. Of course, every cook has his own proven recipe for thin pancakes. They are baked on milk, whey, kefir. Everyone can use their own way of cooking. And beginners to comprehend the basics of cooking offer the following recipe.

For a half-liter package of milk, we need two eggs, one and a half glasses of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, a spoonful of sugar, four spoons of sunflower oil.

We start to prepare pancakes with ham and cheese. We break eggs into a bowl, pour sugar and salt on the norm and mix everything with a mixer (you can, of course, use a whisk, but then the process of making the test will take more time). Then we pour the milk into a bowl, stir it and start to pour the flour neatly. In order not to form lumps, flour should be added gradually, constantly stirring the dough. In the end, you should add the vegetable oil and once again stir the pancake dough well.

Baking pancakes is most convenient in a frying pan with low sides, which is called "pancake". Lubricate the frying pan only before frying the first pancake. Be sure to warm up the frying pan well before pouring a dough into it, otherwise the pancake will turn out to be a "lump". Since we are going to cook pancakes with ham and cheese, then fry should only one side of the product, that is, turning the pancake, keep it in a frying pan for literally a second. Only for the dough to "grasp".

Now we prepare the filling. There are possible different options. In each pancake, you can simply wrap in a slice of ham and cheese, or cut these products into cubes and mix. Finished stuffed pancakes can be fried in a pan, turning from side to side, or bake them in the oven.

You can cook a more complicated version of the filling with ham and cheese. To do this, fry the finely chopped onion in butter, then add the ham cut into the frying pan to the onions and fry a little more. Then pour a little cream, add pepper and salt and cook on low heat until thick. At the end, pour the grated cheese on the grater and stir so that it completely melts. As a result, a rather dense mass will turn out, which we will stuff our pancakes.

We spread the filling on the toasted side of the pancake and fold it in the form of an envelope or just a tube. Spread our pancakes with ham and cheese on a baking sheet, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven for five minutes, until it melts.

Do not like cheese? Then you can cook pancakes with ham, eggs and green onions. Boil several hard-boiled eggs, cut them into small cubes, add to them finely chopped green onions and ham cubes, do not forget to salt. To make the filling more juicy, you need to add a little melted butter to it.

No less interesting option - pancakes with ham and mushrooms. To prepare this delicious filling, any mushrooms, though fresh, at least dried, will do. They need to boil (dried pre-soak) and cut into small slices. Sliced the same ham and onions with the same slices. Fry onions in oil until soft, then pour mushrooms and ham, pour a little cream. Stew on low fire to the required density, at the end of quenching we put salt and pepper.

Finished stuffed pancakes served hot for tea or coffee. They can be prepared for future use and freeze. Then you will not have problems with the preparation of breakfast or dinner "in a hurry."
