Many culinary beginners believe that such a dessert can be purchased only in cafes or shops. However, experienced chefs know that berry mousse is an exclusively homemade delicacy that does not require the use of expensive products, nor does it take a lot of time.

So how do you make the dessert mentioned, if before that you did not encounter it? To do this, we recommend that you strictly adhere to the following prescription requirements.

So, to make berry mousse yourself, you need to buy:

  • Strawberry large soda - 2 cups;
  • Powder from sugar - 1 glass;
  • Milk fresh fat - 2.5 cups.

Cooking process

Berry mousse, the photo of which is presented in this article, is made of fresh or frozen strawberries especially tasty. To make it, the main ingredient should be placed in a deep container, and then covered with powdered sugar. In this form, the products must be whipped to a uniform state by means of an immersion blender.

As soon as the strawberry with sugar is converted into a lush mass, fresh fatty milk is gradually poured into it. After repeating the whipping procedure (for several minutes), you should get an air berry mousse, which you want to put in kremanki or any other containers, and then send it to the refrigerator.

After 20-27 minutes dessert should be decorated with a sprig of mint and served to the table with a small spoon.

Quick preparation of mousse from berries

You can make mousse at home using different berries. Most often, strawberries are used for such purposes. However, we recommend preparing mousse with the following ingredients:

  • Raspberry fresh - about 150 g;
  • Currant non-acidic black - 150 g;
  • Sugar small - 80 g;
  • Egg whites - 1-2 pcs.

There is nothing better than eating a natural, useful and tasty dessert prepared with your own hands. Berry mousse using raspberries and currants can be done not only for its presentation to a normal family table, but also for any celebration.

To implement this recipe, you should first process the main components. Currants and raspberries are carefully sorted and rinsed in cold water. Further, they are laid out in a fine sieve and grinded with a crush. In this case, all the juice with pectic substances should be at the bottom, and cake with seeds - at the top. We do not need the latter. It can be discarded or used to make compote.

Once the berry juice is ready, begin to process the egg whites. In a chilled form they are placed in a deep bowl, after which they are whipped with a mixer.

Having achieved the splendor of mass and persistence of peaks, sugar is added to the proteins and the previously prepared juice is added. In such a composition, the ingredients are whipped again at the highest speed.

After the protein mass becomes homogeneous, it is laid out on kremankam, kept in a refrigerator for 10 minutes and served to the table with a fresh sprig of mint.

Making berry mousse for a cake

Shop and home cakes are very often prepared on the basis of berry mousse. If you want to make such a dessert yourself, then we suggest using this recipe. For its implementation, the following ingredients are required:

  • Natural fresh yogurt - about 2 cups;
  • Strawberry garden - 1 glass;
  • Gelatin - 1 small spoon;
  • Drinking water - ½ cup;
  • Sugar is small - 2/3 cup;
  • Blackberry - ½ cup.

How to cook?

In the preparation of this cream for the cake is nothing difficult. First you need to sort out and wash the berries, and then beat them with a blender along with the small sugar. After the lavish and sweet mass is formed in the bowl, natural yogurt is gradually added to it and continues to be intensively stirred by means of a mixer.

To berry mousse does not flow during the preparation of home-made cake, it is recommended to add a little gelatin to it. To do this, it should be put in a small bowl and pour with drinking water. As soon as the gelatin swells, it is put on the fire and slowly heated (not leading to a boil).

Continuing to beat the mixture, consisting of yoghurt, strawberry, sugar and blackberries, a warm gelatin mixture is gradually poured into it. After obtaining a homogeneous mass, it is sent to a cold store for 5-7 minutes. After this time, berry mousse can be applied to the cakes safely, using a culinary spatula.

Having formed a cake, it must be put on the cold and kept in this form for about 4 hours. During this time, the mousse stiffens a little, making the dessert very beautiful, delicious and tender.
