What is a plastic slate

Most recently in the domestic market there was such a building material as plastic slate. Externally, it looks like the same standard overlap, which is used for the roof. However, the technical characteristics of this material are significantly different from its predecessor. And in order to understand in detail in which cases and how to properly apply such an overlap, let's try to consider everything in order.

So, most often plastic slate is found in such buildings as a terrace, a gazebo, a covered veranda or an annex. Often it is used to block summer kitchens in the country, or to equip a canopy, under which can be a dining table, deckchairs for relaxation and so on. In all these aspects, there is something that unites them - this is the so-called "summer variant". That is, plastic slate is a light material that serves only as a means of protection from the sun or rain, from a small breeze or dust. To delay the low temperatures in its path, to form the necessary condensate or to keep the structure from strong wind, it is not capable.

But, despite all the above, this material is very reliable and has high wear-resistant qualities. It does not bend, does not lend itself to moisture or direct sunlight, does not rot in time and does not deform. To create unique and unique forms, to change standards and stereotypes prescribed in architectural reference books - all this is quite realistic if you have plastic slate.

PVC, as is known, is one of the most reliable and common materials. It was he who laid the foundation for the production of this overlap. Due to its versatility, it can be mounted in various ways: both with the help of large nails, and with the use of special glue. The main condition is the correct arrangement of each roof element - each previous layer should overlap its predecessor by 10 centimeters.

Often in decorative construction, plastic slate is also used. Of course, this finishing material is not able to protect the gazebo or terrace from the sun and heat. But to enjoy the rain, sitting in the altanka, completely finished with transparent dense plastic, it is quite real. Also, this material is widely used in the construction of hangars and warehouses, where the presence of sunlight in large quantities.

Plastic slate can easily acquire the texture and shape of natural tiles. It is enough only to order from the manufacturer what you need, having previously shown the sketch. As a result, you can achieve that the roofs of the house and the gazebo or terraces will be sustained in a single style. At the same time, you will save a lot of resources and forces that would be spent on purchasing and installing a standard slate. Therefore, choose and purchase all building materials, having previously studied the market and learning about all the offers that are relevant in our days.
