Carnitine chloride - application features

Carnitine chloride is a drug in the form of a solution that is designed for injection. In the 1 ml solution of the drug there is 100 mg of active ingredient, the rest is distilled water. Carnitine chloride is colorless or almost colorless and is used in metabolic therapy.

This drug refers to preparations of a non-steroidal nature. Carnitine chloride helps to stimulate metabolic processes, as it takes part in different parts of the energy metabolism. The drug has antihypoxic, anabolic and antithyroid effects, it activates lipid metabolism, and also increases appetite. Carnitine helps to reduce the basal metabolism, slow down the decomposition of carbohydrate and protein molecules. Also, this substance promotes the fact that mitochondria penetrate the membranes and split fatty acids, after which acetylcoenzyme A is formed, which is necessary for the formation of ketone bodies. It is also used in the synthesis of choline and its esters, for the formation of adenosine triphosphate. There is a mobilization of fat from fat stores. There is a competitive displacement of glucose, in connection with which this drug is effective in acute hypoxia and other critical conditions.

Carnitine chloride helps to restore the alkaline reserve of blood (it does not affect its clotting), it reduces the formation of keto acids, increases the resistance of tissues, activates aerobic processes and inhibits anaerobic glycolysis. Also, the drug has an antihypoxic effect and accelerates reparative processes.

Carnitine chloride - instructions for use

The drug is quickly excreted, and after three hours it does not remain in the blood. It also quickly enters the heart muscle and liver, a little slower in the muscles. The withdrawal of this drug is carried out by the kidneys.

The drug is prescribed:

The drug is administered only intravenously and very slowly, not more than one drop per second. If the patient has acute disorders of the blood circulation of the brain, then for 3 days he injected 1 gram of the drug once a day, and then for a week to 0.5 g. The repeated course is carried out after two weeks, also 0.5 grams of carnitine chloride for 3 -5 days.
