Cake on yogurt: several delicious recipes

It has long been proven useful properties of kefir and its positive effect on the work of the human body. Everyone knows that regular consumption of kefir has a beneficial effect on the intestinal microflora, as well as on the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Of course, this is far from a complete list of very useful properties of this sour-milk product. But kefir is used not only in pure form, it can be successfully used in baking. The cake on kefir will be more airy, lighter and more tasty than the same cake, but on the water. The dough, mixed with kefir, rises better and, unlike the water test, does not fall off after it, already in the form of a pie or cake for a cake, was pulled out of the oven. Here are a few simple recipes, from which you can choose any and cook a cake with kefir over it.

Striped Zebra pie is familiar to everyone. But it can be improved and turned into a cake. To bake a cake "Zebra" on kefir, you will need:

  • Margarine - 100g;
  • Egg - 3 pieces;
  • Kefir - 1 glass;
  • Flour - one and a half cups;
  • Sugar - 180g;
  • Cocoa powder - 2 table. Spoons;
  • Soda - 1/5 teaspoonful;
  • The salt with vanillin can be added to taste.

With a special desire, you can add walnuts to the dough. Preparing the cake "Zebra" on kefir as follows: margarine must be melted on low heat, putting it in advance in a metal bowl. When the margarine is completely melted, remove it from the plate, pour sugar into it and mix it very carefully. Next put eggs, kefir with soda in it soda (two or three tablespoons of yogurt should be left) and flour. All this must be stirred to a homogeneous mass. Those who want to add nuts to this cake on yogurt can pour them into the dough at this stage. Now what we have got is divided into two parts, that is, we shift half the test into another container. In one part we mix vanillin, and in the other - cocoa and the remaining several spoons of kefir, so that because of cocoa this part of the dough does not become thicker than the "white" half.

Next, we lubricate the baking dish with oil and proceed to create "strips": alternately pour into the center of the mold first a spoonful of chocolate dough, then vanilla. And so on until the dough ends in both containers. The resulting "zebra" set for 40-50 minutes in the oven, which must first be heated to 180 degrees. When the pie is ready, it will only be turned into a cake. To do this, you need to take a fairly long knife and cut the cake horizontally, to get a "base" and "cap". The base can be smeared with any cream, both brewed and oil (butter + condensed milk) or sour cream. From above we cover with a "lid", which is also well lubricated with cream. You can decorate the resulting cake with kefir at your discretion (sprinkle with nuts, candied fruits, chocolate chips, etc.).

And a very simple and delicious cake on kefir. For its preparation, take:

  • Jam (the best currant) - a half glass;
  • Egg - 1 piece;
  • Kefir - half a cup;
  • Flour - 1 glass;
  • Sugar - a quarter of a glass;
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon.

All the ingredients are well mixed and baked in a baking dish or special frying pan. When the cake has cooled down, cut it across to get two cakes, which are smeared with sour cream.

For sour cream it is necessary to take one glass of thick cream and half a cup of sugar, which mix well or mix with a mixer. Ready cake on yogurt decorate with fruits, nuts or grated chocolate.

And a very fast cake with the appropriate name "Naskorjak". You will need:

  • Egg - 1 piece;
  • Kefir - 1 glass;
  • Margarine or butter (melted) - 2 tablespoons;
  • Sugar - 1 glass;
  • Soda - half a teaspoon.

Beat eggs with sugar and then add all the remaining ingredients, which are also thoroughly mixed or whipped. This dough is baked on an oiled baking sheet or baking dish, in the oven, over medium heat. Baking time is 20-30 minutes. To prevent the pie from falling, do not open the oven. This cake can be eaten in the form in which you got it from the oven, and you can cut it into two cakes and spread it with any cream or jam, just like in the previous recipes.
