It would seem that the baked chicken is one of the simplest dishes, and the main thing in its preparation is not to miss the right moment, so that the appetizing golden crust does not turn into charred. But why, then, in one case, the chicken's meat baked in the oven turns out to be soft and fragrant, and in another it's too dry and tasteless. Experienced housewives are well aware that the success of baked meat largely depends on the preparation of carcass and used spices. The way of preparation also plays a role. The chicken, baked in foil or under the lid, will be juicier than the carcass that was simply placed on a baking tray.

Preparation of baked chicken is a rather long process. Sometimes, in order to shorten the time, the meat is pre-fried and only then placed in the oven.

Baked chicken with pineapple and curry sauce.

In the above recipe, chicken breast is used to prepare the dish, but if desired, it can be replaced with ham. 4 servings will require approximately 600 grams of breast (with skin), carrots - 2 medium roots, bulb and kohlrabi one piece, leeks - one stem, a glass of cream, pineapple canned - 150 g, olive or sunflower oil - 2 l . Preheat the oven and fry the chicken in a frying pan. Slightly add salt to the meat, rub garlic and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Chicken sauce is prepared as follows:
We cut finely vegetables, add spices, one pinch of salt and sugar and fry in oil. Then carefully pour in the cream and cook the sauce for a weak boil for 8 minutes, then add the pineapple and cook for 3 more minutes. Sprinkle the mixture of greens, add the pepper. Chicken meat cut into pieces, served with a side dish of boiled rice, thickly pouring sauce.

Baked chicken with vegetables in white wine

You will need a chicken carcass weighing up to 1.5 kg, 2 onions, 1 kg of potato tubers, dry wine - 100 ml, oil - 25 grams. As a seasoning we take dried oregano - 2 full tablespoons, garlic (large head) and pepper ground black, to taste. For baking, you will also need a deep form and food foil.

Garlic weed into a homogeneous slurry with a small amount of salt, oregano and pepper. Chicken carcass rubbed with oil, make small incisions under the skin and rub a mixture of spices into them. The remaining mixture rubbed chicken.
Lay out the form with a foil crosswise. Shink onion, put it on the bottom of the mold and level it. We put a chicken carcass on it, pour the wine, close the foil and put the form in the oven for 40 minutes. Vegetables are cleaned, sliced, pour the grated garlic and salt, add a little oil. We put it to the chicken and bake until the potatoes are ready. To get a crusty crust, unfold the foil and leave the chicken and potatoes in the oven for another fifteen minutes. This will be enough to make meat and vegetables brown.
In our recipe, the baked chicken is cooked with potatoes, but it can easily be replaced with other vegetables. Try, for example, bake a pumpkin, turnip, kohlrabi or broccoli.

Baked chicken with golden crust

Often, for cooking chicken in the oven, use bags for baking. This dish is unpretentious and does not require special culinary skills from the hostess. There are several ways to bake a chicken in a package. We suggest you try the following recipe. Before baking, we make shallow subcutaneous incisions on a chicken carcass, rub it with a mixture of spices, salt and sour cream (mayonnaise) and leave for an hour - one and a half to ensure that the meat is soaked properly. After that, we put inside the carcass halves of the bulb, put it in a bag and tie it. Make a few punctures so that the package in the oven does not burst. Preheat the plate to 180 degrees and bake the chicken until golden brown.

If desired, the baked chicken can be cooked along with the garnish. For this purpose, we put the vegetables or washed rice into the bag together with the carcass.

There are many tricks that improve the taste of baked meat and poultry. If you want the dish to be more juicy, place a container of water in the oven. This technique can also be used in the preparation of baking, so that the product does not burn and evenly bake.
