The finishing of walls with wooden panels has its advantages. First, when installing them, you do not need to level the walls. In contrast, say, from the wallpaper, under which a laborious (and rather expensive) process of plastering and puttying is performed. Secondly, the tree is a natural material, so the walls will "breathe", that is, absorb excess moisture from the air, and then give it back. Thirdly, wooden panels provide a high level of sound insulation.
Panels come in several forms: all-welded glued panels, three-layered panels with a top layer of valuable wood and decorative panels from softwood. For finishing the walls, dial-up rack panels are still used. The latter method is more labor-intensive, but it avoids joints that occur when using standard size panels.
