Today, it is very often possible to meet paths laid with paving slabs. But not everyone knows what is the technology of making paving slabs. It has the following sequence:

1. Preparation of forms. They are usually made of rubber, polyurethane and plastic. The form is initially lubricated by special means, but also the technology of manufacturing paving slabs allows the pouring of concrete without pre-lubrication of the mold. The product is formed in several cycles, the value of which depends on the material used in the manufacture. For example, rubber molds - 500 cycles, polyurethane - up to 100 cycles, plastic - up to 250 cycles. If the mold is not initially lubricated, then in order to avoid problems with the formwork, it is treated with an antistatic agent or at the outlet with 5% hydrochloric acid. Lubrication of forms is not allowed by means containing petroleum products. The layer of the lubricant itself must be thin. Thickening of the lubricant eventually leads to the creation of a porous product. Attention should also be paid to temperature, when applied it should not exceed 20 degrees.

2. Making a mixture of concrete. A concrete mixer is usually used for the preparation. With mixing, a certain time range should be maintained. The technology of manufacturing paving slabs includes the following sequence: the sand with the pigment is mixed for 20 seconds, with the addition of crushed stone the mixing time will be another 20 seconds, add cement to the previous mixture and wait another 20 seconds, then add water and various additives, leave in Concrete mixer for another minute. As a result, you will take about 2 minutes to prepare the mixture.

3. Processing on vibrating table. We proceed to fill the mold with a concrete mixture. Once the concrete is in shape, it is placed on a vibrating table for compaction.

4. Pouring the mixture into the mold. Forms after treatment are put on a stand. Square plates are placed in no more than three rows. After that, the molds are covered with polyethylene, in order to prevent moisture from evaporating. It is necessary to follow the temperature, which should be about 15 degrees. Additionally, there is no need to heat the mold. After a day, the tile can be removed from the mold.

5. Decking. It uses equipment for the manufacture of paving slabs. It is called a knockout table with vibration. In order to facilitate the extraction of the tiles from the mold, it must be heated to 50 degrees in the oven. But not only will the tile be difficult to remove, it can spoil the form or shorten the life of the tile.

6. Storage and packaging. After the tiles are removed from the molds, it is placed on euro pallets, where they are placed face-to-face. Then it is tied with a packing tape.

The manufacture of paving slabs with their own hands is also quite possible. The principle is about the same. Only as a lubricant you can use any fatty solution. When mixing the mixture it is necessary to add more water in order to replace the treatment on the table with vibration. The table can also be replaced with an ordinary hand shaking shape. Decking can only be done after 3 days. In order to make the plates more durable, the wire and various reinforcement can be added to the mixture.
