"Boeing 737-400": interior layout

In the world of reactive passenger aircraft, the most popular liner for many years has been and remains "Boeing 737-400". The whole history of passenger aircraft construction does not know other models of aircraft in terms of the number of cars produced. The family "Boeing 737-400" already has three generations of aircraft. According to the proposals of charter carriers, the model was slightly modified.

"Boeing 737-400" is a medium-haul type passenger aircraft, the developer and manufacturer of which are the United States. The first flight of a car of this type took place in 1988. Boeing continues to develop a new generation of aircraft.

"Boeing 737-400" since the release is operated for commercial purposes. Its length was increased by three meters, in this connection the reconstruction of the air conditioning system was followed . So, the "Boeing 737-400" acquired distinctive features: two missed windows on each side, two additional emergency exit to the wing on each side. The model and the tail apex, which is capable of preventing the destruction of the tail part of the fuselage when touching the runway, is different. "Boeing 737-400" is a version of the aircraft with an extended fuselage, with a larger capacity. With these changes, a somewhat shortened flight range was noted. About this version of the "Boeing 737-400" was mentioned back in 1986. The increase in the take-off weight led to the need for a design enhancement of the outer panels of the wing and chassis consoles.

The "Boeing 737-400" aircraft , the layout of which has also undergone changes, has 170 seats (in accordance with the wishes of charter airlines) against the base version for 146 seats. In the cabin of economy class seats are arranged in the following order: in a row from two sides on board seats 3-3. The best places for an economy saloon with this arrangement are in the first row in the middle of the liner. Their difference lies in the space for the feet. In the salon there are 6 such places.

As a hint for tourists buying tickets for the "Boeing 737-400": the layout of the seats in the cabin is somewhat inconvenient. The toilet, located exactly at the end, gathers queues of passengers. "Boeing 737-400" has a maximum cruising speed of up to eight hundred kilometers per hour and a fixed mileage of up to one and a half kilometers. In the cockpit there are 2 workplaces.

The technical data of the airliner is really impressive. The weight of an empty aircraft is almost thirty-five tons, and the capacity of fuel tanks is nearly twenty-four tons. The permitted commercial load of the aircraft is about eighteen tons.

At one time the airliner "Boeing 737-400" came to replace the older obsolete relatives. At the same time, it was equipped with new on-board radio electronic equipment, an improved cabin and engines. At present, this type of aircraft is no longer produced, serial production was completed in 2000, but many airlines still operate the aircraft of this brand. The range of the aircraft with the maximum load is about five thousand kilometers. A total of 486 airplanes of the "Boeing 737-400" type were produced, and another model - 737-800 - came to replace it.
