VAZ-2110 is a very cheap and easy-to-maintain car. But one of his main "sores" is the body. Unfortunately, it is poorly protected from corrosion. Let's get to work. Preparation

  • Extensions of spars and thresholds.

Due to their fatty consistency, these compounds will repel water and prevent it from penetrating inside, to the metal. In addition, it is possible to apply an anti-gravel coating (in case the metal is treated with mastic, and not with fat). After drying the composition, we make the insulation of the cabin. Sheets with vibroplastic should be laid on a clean surface. On the mud, it does not hold. But on sticky mastic will keep to the full. Additionally, the sheet is rolled with a special roller or by hand through rags. Next, you can safely collect the salon and put the seat.

How to extend the life of the bottom?

These tips are suitable for those who have already repaired the floor on the "top ten", and those who still have a live copy. So, the first rule is frequent washing. Typically, car owners pay attention to the upper body. But you need to wash the hidden cavities. Especially it concerns those who live in large cities and exploit the car in the winter. Salted salt does not disappear until it is removed by a powerful stream of water. The next rule is the regular processing of the bottom. Over time, the old anticorrosion is washed away and exfoliated. Once a year, you need to check its condition and, if necessary, renew the layer. If the surface has already appeared foci of corrosion (but not through), we process them with a converter, and then - a thick layer of mastic. As for the rapids, they have drainage holes. Outwardly, they do not make any sense with anticorrosive treatment - the water is inside. Therefore, in dry and warm weather, take a can of "Moville" and pour it through a thin tube (it usually comes complete) inside. After a year, this procedure should be repeated. Only in this way can the bottom and thresholds be protected from rust. If the problem caught you in the winter, you can apply a temporary measure - to clean the rusty surface and apply an anticorrection to the site locally. And already with warming to make processing on all perimeter.
