Cutlet from a pumpkin turns out very soft, gentle and tasty. Such an original dish can be served to the table and along with some garnish of vegetables, and just with fresh herbs.

Tasty cutlets from pumpkin: recipe

Required ingredients for the dish:

  • Semolina - ½ cup;
  • Pumpkin is small - 1 piece;
  • Fresh milk - 1 full glass;
  • Egg small chicken - 2 pieces;
  • Black pepper and sea salt - add to taste;
  • Veal low-fat - 200 g;
  • Onion medium - 1 pc .;
  • Sugar - 2 large spoons;
  • Vegetable oil, odorless - for roasting;
  • Bread crumbs - 100 g.

The process of preparing the main vegetable

To make the pumpkin cutlet juicy and tender, you should carefully process the main component. To do this, you need to take a fresh vegetable of small size, clean it of seeds and hard peel, and then grate it on a fine grater. Next, the crushed pumpkin should be placed in a saucepan and fried in vegetable oil (for 10-13 minutes). After that, sugar should be poured into the vegetable, sea salt, semolina and fresh milk. In such a composition, the ingredients must be kept on a gas stove until completely thickened, and then removed from the heat and cool well.

Filling process

Cutlet from a pumpkin turns out much more tasty, if during preparation of such product it is in addition to use a meat product. We decided to take a small piece of low-fat veal, and then grind it in a meat grinder, fry it with sunflower oil along with onions, sprinkling with salt and pepper. After that, minced meat needs to be cooled in the cold air.

Cutlets with meat and pumpkin are formed very easily. To do this, you need to break 2 chicken eggs into a mass of vegetable and manga, and then thoroughly mix them until smooth. On each side, such vegetable products with a filling should be fried no longer than 5-8 minutes. This time is enough to make the dish covered with a fragrant and ruddy crust.

How to serve to the table correctly

Pumpkin cutlets with minced meat stuffing should preferably be presented to the dining table only when hot. To such an original dish you can serve some hearty side dish, and it is better to use only fresh greens or raw vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, parsley, dill, etc.).
