Structure of personality in psychology

The structure of the personality in psychology is the complexity of the individual elements, as well as their interaction with each other. Simply put, individual characteristics in the nature of man. Conditionally it is possible to single out a structure consisting of several levels: from the lowest to the highest. The lowest level represents a division into primitive characteristics, for example, sexual distinction, age categories of personality, temperament. The next step in the system of levels is considered to be psychological processes, namely, the characteristics of the perception of information, memory, and so on.

Personality structure in psychology is viewed from the point of view of development at different levels, but the highest interest is the highest. It, in turn, includes the attitude of the person in the collective of people, his evaluation of self, hobbies, individual interests and aspirations, moral principles.

The personality theory in psychology includes a certain set of basic concepts and terms. The main thing is individuality, that is, the unity of the psychological characteristics of a person inherent in him specifically. The main properties of personality include such categories as activity and emotionality. The first is a unity of psychological characteristics, for example, skills, knowledge, temperament, character of a person. Very interesting is the concept of temperament, it implies the reaction of the individual to the events taking place. No wonder they say that a temperamental man reacts quite sharply to any unfavorable changes in his life. Skills and knowledge are the defining aspects of the development of the individual in society.

Emotionality is characterized by focus, existing habits, acquired skills, experience and abilities. Under the direction it is accepted to understand the true values that are really dear to a person, everything that he aspires to and what he wants to achieve in life. But the abilities are a certain set of tools that ensure the achievement of the set goals. The more abilities a person has, the more chances he has to achieve what he wants. In the course of the life cycle, the individual acquires skills, skills and knowledge, getting into different situations and circumstances, thanks to which the experience is added every year.

The structure of the personality in psychology includes the most important category, called the world perception, that is, the individual vision of the world. Its peculiarity consists in the fact that a person can consider his mission on this earth, his life both in a negative way, and in a positive way. The perception of the world is greatly influenced by other psychological characteristics of the individual, for example, the age category, sexual separation, the level of development. In addition to all the above concepts, a person is often unconsciously guided by instinct. It is through instincts that he reacts equally to certain situations, that is, by nature the inherent habits of the individual.

The concept of personality and its structure was very interestingly described by Erickson. He maintained that the personality passes through the life stages of the main stages or stages. The first stage is infancy, during which the child perceives any information at the level of confidence or mistrust. At the so-called age of the game, the child manifests a sense of guilt, he makes conscious actions, can be the initiator. At the stage of adolescence, serious changes occur not only at the physical level, but also in the psychology of the adolescent. Then comes youth and maturity in an intimate sense, maturity and, finally, old age, which is usually accompanied by a severe disappointment in life.

Personality structure in human psychology is considered a topic that can be studied for a long time, but it will not be possible to fully know it. It is necessary to understand that the individual's consciousness is a subtle thing, therefore it requires careful study and a special approach.
