Stewed potatoes with chicken - classic or original dish

When we hear the phrase "stewed potatoes with chicken", then we imagine a quite traditional and even ordinary dish. But it can also be cooked so that a tasty and at the same time a new, original culinary creation is obtained. About this and talk to the article, where several recipes will be offered.

To begin with, it will be a classic version of this dish. We take one onion and cut it into small cubes. We also do the same with two carrots. Fry these vegetables in a frying pan. Bulgarian peppers need to be cleaned and cut into cubes. Next, take two chicken breasts and cut them into medium cubes. After that, fry them a little in a separate pan before the appearance of a crust. 6-8 potato tubers need to be cleaned and cut into small cubes. Stewed chicken with chicken will be the most delicious, if you use special dishes designed for such technology. Take a cauldron or a pot with a thick bottom. We put into it fried vegetables (onions, carrots), chopped sweet pepper, chicken breast and potatoes. Add a little water or a better broth. Sypem pinch of salt (to taste) and any spices. We put the pan on the fire and wait for the water to start boiling. After that, we reduce the fire to a minimum, so that the water is barely boiling, and leave to stew. Potato stew with chicken will be ready in about 35-40 minutes.

In order to prepare a dish according to the following recipe, you can take a whole carcass of chicken. We cut it into portions. Now take a brazier or a saucepan with a thick bottom and put it on the fire. We put a few slices of butter in it and fry the chicken. When the crust appears, it is necessary to add finely chopped onion and diced carrots or grated on a grater (as you like) to the pan. Next, take 150 grams of any mushrooms and cut them into small plates. Add them to the pan and rash salt and pepper. Stew a chicken with vegetables until the meat is half cooked. After that, add small potatoes (half a kilogram) sliced in small cubes and add water. The liquid should not cover the potatoes. We cook until ready. In the meantime shred half the cabbage and, when the dish is completely ready, we send it to the pan. There we add three tablespoons of any tomato paste. Mix all the ingredients and add the necessary spices at will. After 9-10 minutes, braised potatoes with chicken are ready.

And at last one more simple recipe of this dish with addition of curry. First you can do the preparatory work. We take one onion and cut it very finely. Then one kilogram of chicken breast or any other part of the chicken without bones is cut into pieces. We take a frying pan with a thick bottom and spread the sliced onions into it. Fire is not very big. Then put the pieces of chicken. Fry without using any fat. After a while we add potatoes (4-5 tubers), cut into large pieces and 150 grams of spinach leaves, which are cut into small pieces. Pour into the pan about two teaspoons of curry. Mix everything very well and fry for 2-3 minutes, without using oil.

Next, add 400 grams of chopped tomatoes and pour 400 ml of water. We are waiting for the water to boil, and make the fire small. Stew for 30 minutes with the lid closed. Then remove the frying pan from the fire and rash pepper and salt. We add chopped greens. You can use coriander and mint. Potatoes with chicken, stewed in this way, turns out fragrant and tasty.

Choose the cooking option on your own. Adding spices, you can prepare a more original dish. Stewed chicken with chicken is a hearty dish that can be used even for serving guests. Supplement it with a light vegetable salad.
