Moving and intellectual games for schoolchildren

After entering the educational institution, yesterday's baby has new duties, assignments, and, of course, the leading activity is learning. However, do not forget that games for schoolchildren continue to be an effective method that can be used in the educational process. They are used in class, including after-hours activities and for educational activities.

Games are the first social experience of children, since they often model real life events. If properly and skillfully applied, they can become a powerful means of influencing the child's intellectual, moral and physical development .

Moving games for junior high school students are especially important, because with them you can influence simultaneously the mental and motor skills of children. They consist, usually, of various movements that contribute to strengthening the muscles, tempering the body, improving personal and physical qualities. Of particular importance are such games when working on the unity of the children's collective. When observing the behavior of schoolchildren in this type of activity, teachers can notice how the relations between participants improve, changing for the better.

Movable games for schoolchildren, like any other, have certain rules. They are necessary so that children can understand the meaning of their actions. Their execution is very important for the essence of this activity. If games for schoolchildren are used to influence the relations in the team, the adult (teacher or educator) must necessarily monitor that the child's personal interests can be subordinated to the public.

Among the popular children's games that can be used for dynamic pauses, physical education lessons, in day camps, it is worth noting "The sea worries once ...", "Leapfrog", "Cossacks-robbers", etc.

Of the moving games you need to mention "The Trap". This game is collective. For its conduct, children form two circles, inner and outer. Under the sounding music, they move in different directions. At the signal of the presenter, the children stop, the players in the outer circle raise their hands up. The other participants run through them in different directions. On another signal, the hands fall, who stayed in the inner circle - "fell into a trap". This continues until almost all participants remain there.

Intellectual games for schoolchildren contribute to the development of logical thinking, memory, attention, creative abilities. Their content is selected depending on the purposes with which they will be used. For the development of observation, you can take such tasks as "Find Differences", "What's Different about Pictures," and so on.

Collective games for schoolchildren are used in after-hours activities and in basic classes. For example, the game "What does your friend look like?" Helps to unite children, develop a sense of empathy and attention. The rules are as follows: the children look closely at their neighbor, then turn away from each other. Then they are asked questions about the appearance of the partner, to which they must respond.
