School of the police: what to do. Higher and secondary schools of the militia. Secondary special schools of militia. Police schools for girls

Many boys in their childhood asked the question "Who do you want to become?" Answer: "Police officers". This is probably the most common answer, as well as the "cosmonaut". For some it was just a child's dream - and nothing more. But there are those who have chosen their life path since childhood and really dream of working in law enforcement agencies, combating illegality and crime and helping people. After all, this profession is one of the most important for the state. Police officers guard the public order, property, life and health of our citizens. Without police, chaos and anarchy would reign in society. Do you want to become a policeman?

Where do they study at police stations?

So, in order to get the coveted form, it is not enough just to wean in the general education school. It will require special skills (not only physical) and profile education.

In our country, a special police school is preparing the future guardians of law and order. It is an educational institution that produces qualified workers in this field. It is in the schools of the police that they give special knowledge and practical skills necessary for the successful performance of official tasks, which sometimes are not just complicated, but dangerous for life. Such establishments are mainly designed for the male population of the country. Girls here are rare - no more than 10%.

Choosing a school

So, what kind of school is the police? In Russia, there are several stages of obtaining a "police" education.

The first stage is a middle school of militia or a cadet corps. Also here you can include some colleges, in which they offer the specialty "Law and social security organization" (lawyer).

Educational institutions of this type are Astrakhan, Novosibirsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Elabuga, Bryansk and other specialized secondary schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. And also the Moscow and Simbirsk Cadet Corps of Justice. Medium-sized police schools offer day, evening and correspondence courses. The length of study in such an institution depends on the form of education and on the existing education, but does not exceed three years.

The maximum rank that can be awarded at the end of an average special institution is a junior lieutenant.

If you want something better and more significant, then you will have to get a higher education. So, you need the Higher School of Militia. These institutions include the Moscow, Krasnodar and St. Petersburg universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd and Omsk academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Academy of Economic Security located in Moscow, the Siberian legal, Barnaul, Voronezh, Rostov, Saratov and other institutes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Russia. Here, as well as in secondary schools, there is a possibility of day, evening and correspondence courses. The study lasts up to 5 years.

The Higher School of Militia gives an opportunity in the future, after its end, to claim not only higher ranks, but also prestigious work in the organs of internal affairs, the prosecutor's office, the judiciary, and so on.

Well, the highest step is the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It is she who prepares police chiefs at various levels and carries out retraining of personnel.

Who can become a policeman

So, any citizen of the Russian Federation can become a candidate for enrolling in a police school. The basic requirements for the entrants are good physical preparation and good health.

To enroll, you must pass the exams well. The police school also requires high marks in the certificate of basic or secondary education.

For candidates there are age limits. So, the maximum age of the entrant should not exceed 25 years.

How to enter a police school

So, you are serious about doing. What to do?

After the end of the nine classes of the regular school you will be waited by the secondary school of militia. Usually young people come there who have a permanent registration in the district in which such an institution is located. Admission to the school takes some time, requires certain actions and efforts and consists of several stages. Now, more about each of them.

Stage 1: statement

The first step is for you to apply for admission to the chosen school. It is written in the name of the director of the educational institution. An important point is that the police school does not have the right to accept the document if it does not contain the signatures of the candidate's parents. Parents or guardians are required to give their permission for the admission of their child to such an educational institution. Without this, nothing at all.

The application deadline is limited - it can be sent to the school before June 1.

Phase 2: checking the "past"

After the school of militia accepted your application, it is sent to a special personnel service. They create personal files of each of the applicants in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And all information concerning the candidate who submitted the application is checked and examined.

At this stage, nothing will be needed from you, except for the ideal "past." The Human Resources Service carefully checks not only the presence and absence of criminal convictions and criminal or administrative charges against the student candidate himself, but also his closest relatives. So here as luck.

At the end of the audit, a decision is made: either to give a recommendation for admission to the school of the police, or to refuse.

Stage 3: medical examination

While the "past" is being checked, the applicant himself is not idle. In order to enter the police school, you need to undergo a medical examination. As a rule, this is done at the place of residence of the applicant.

For the admission of the medical commission it is necessary to provide:

  • The results of some tests: for example, blood for syphilis or AIDS, fluorography, cardiac ECG and others;
  • An extract from a medical record for the previous five years;
  • Information about vaccinations already made.

On the basis of the data provided, the medical commission makes one of the following decisions: the candidate is suitable or not fit for service in the police.

Stage 4: level of intelligence

First it is necessary to pass a special test, with the help of which it turns out whether the candidate accepts any drugs, whether it suffers from alcohol or other toxic dependence. If the test is passed successfully, the applicant passes to the introductory test. At this stage, it is checked, at what level is its intellectual development. Here the police school itself chooses what will be the test. This can be an exam, an interview or a psychological test (IQ test).

Stage 5: exams

Upon the passage of psychological testing, candidates for students are allowed to check the knowledge obtained in the general education school. Examinations for admission to the school of the police are taken either verbally or in writing. Applicants hand over the Russian language and the history of Russia.

Testing of knowledge of the Russian language takes place in the form of a small composition, presentation or dictation. The exam on the history of Russia is taken orally.

Stage 6: physical fitness check

After an intellectual test, the last and most important stage awaits you. If you successfully pass a physical test, you are guaranteed entry into the police school.

So, physical preparation of entrants is checked on certain sports. In addition, the standards for boys and girls differ. Both girls and boys are provided with running for a long (1-2 km) and short (100 m) distance. And also for guys - pulling on a high crossbar, for girls - performing certain complex strength exercises.

The result of passing the test can be expressed in the formulations: "excellent", "good", "satisfactory" or "unsatisfactory".

To pass a short distance race, the guys must come running with the following result (in seconds):

  • 13.6 - excellent;
  • 14.2 - for "good";
  • 14.6 - "satisfactory".

Girls can run slower and pass with the following result:

  • 16.5 - excellent;
  • 17.1 - for "good";
  • 17.5 - on "satisfactory".

To pass a run for a long distance (2 km), the guys should have the following result (in minutes and seconds):

  • 7.50 - excellent;
  • 8.10 - for "good";
  • 9.00 - on "satisfactory".

The long distance for the girls is shorter than that of the guys, and is 1 kilometer. They must come running with the following result (in minutes and seconds):

  • 4,25 - "excellent";
  • 4.45 - for "good";
  • 5.00 - on "satisfactory".

Pulling up for young men is evaluated depending on the number of times:

  • 12 - "excellent";
  • 10 - to "good";
  • 6 - "satisfactory".

Strength exercises for girls (for example, exercises on the muscles of the press) are also evaluated depending on the number of times:

  • 30 - to "excellent";
  • 26 - to "good";
  • 24 - to "satisfactory".

If the applicant at least for one of the exercises did not score the required number of points or seconds, he gets the overall result - "unsatisfactory".

Negative result is equated with failure to pass the exam, which automatically nullifies all the chances of the entrant for admission.

Enrollment in a police school occurs after the admissions office of an educational institution reviews the results of inspections at all stages: applications for admission, medical commission conclusions, the result of checking for the presence and absence of criminal convictions and criminal or administrative liability, the level of intelligence, Entrance exams and physical training.

On the basis of all passed by the entrant the commission makes a decision, whether this entrant is suitable for training in the police school or not. But it must be remembered that there are many who wish, but only the most worthy and purposeful students are accepted into the students.

Cops in skirts

And what about the fair sex? After all, not only guys can be policemen, but also girls. Of course, after all, this profession has long been considered male and requires a lot of physical training. And in some educational institutions, such as cadet corps, generally accept students only boys.

But girls gradually achieve equality here. For today among employees of police already 20% - women! And it's not uncommon to meet a "cop in a skirt" on the street.

There is no special educational institution like the police school for girls in our country. Training takes place in conjunction with the guys. All pass strict selection. Of course, it is much more difficult for girls to enter such educational institutions, since initially there are less "student places" for them. However, upon admission and standards for them is less than for guys.

Perhaps the most famous girl in the Russian police is Oksana Fedorova, a major, as well as a winner of world beauty contests, a successful model, a TV presenter, and so on.

And yet, not women's profession. Many of the girls who have already become police officers face a very pressing problem: family or work. And this is wrong. After all, a woman should have time for children and a family hearth, but the Motherland must be protected by a man.
