The decision to conduct a small research on who of the manufacturers pays attention to sales of cars with mileage and thereby increases the loyalty of customers to their brand has emerged spontaneously.

I chose 32 automobile brands represented on the Russian market, both domestic and foreign, and analyzed the sites of manufacturers for the following indicators:

I. Availability of a special program

II. Number of program participants, in% of the number of dealerships

III. Number of cars on the site

Of 32 brands, information on the site about the sale of cars with mileage has placed 15, which is 46.8%. (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Citroen, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Skoda, Toyota, Volvo, VW)

I. The availability of a special program and the standards of the car sold by the dealer was announced by 14 brands. To my surprise, Lexus dropped out.

II. Number of participants on the site in% of the number of dealerships. Here the places were distributed:

1. Land Rover - 82,05%
2. Jaguar - 70.83%
3. Mercedes - 41.38%
4. Audi - 39.58%
5. BMW - 28,81%
6. Renault - 25.58%
7. Citroen - 25.00%
8. Toyota - 13.75%
9. Nissan - 9.28%

Of course, my analysis has more parameters and I published only a part of the data. But I think even this information will suffice to understand which of the manufacturers is most open to their dealers and what is most important for customers .

There are some flaws, like BMW's description of the car's equipment, but in English. Most brands have a brief description of the bundle, or even nothing at all.

It turns out a strange situation. On the European sites of automobile companies, you can always find for yourself not only a new car but also a car with mileage, but in Russia it is not yet popular. At the same time draws attention to the fact that the sale of cars with mileage is gaining momentum and sales of used cars in Russia are much larger than new ones.
