We install new rollers, while holding the upper pulley with a key. An important point - we put on the strap so that all the tags are preserved in their places. The arrows on it should look forward, as in the photo above. Next, install the roller spring.
Checking match marks
The next step is to check the correctness of the marking. To do this with a key, rotate the crankshaft pulley clockwise. Carefully watch that at this point the valves do not meet with the pistons. If the shaft has turned without problems, and the marks have kept their positions, tighten the mechanism belt and finally tighten the bolt of the lower pulley with a key. If you feel that when the shaft turns the piston rests against the valves, do not start the engine. Check that the labels are correctly positioned again. How is the timing belt "Kia-Spectra" replaced? Accessories are all assembled in place - install a plastic casing and protection. We start the engine and check how it works at different speeds.
