Nissan with CVT variators

Such boxes are often found among the cars of this manufacturer. These automatic transmissions are reliable, and with proper care can last a very long time. The main thing is to make sure that the work is done on time.

When it is necessary to replace the oil in the variator "Nissan"?

The proximity of the replacement is diagnosed by color. If the liquid has darkened or at it has appeared atypical smell, it is a signal that it is necessary to change oil immediately.

A timely operation allows you to significantly extend the life of this node. As for the periodicity, the manufacturer recommends that such service be performed after 30,000 km.

Remove the dipstick from the pipe. Now you can drain the old liquid. The whole process of draining will take no more than 30 minutes.

Pour in a new tool with a funnel, and then look again at the level change.

"Toyota"

How does this car change the oil in the variator? "Toyota" is repaired in the same way as described above. It is necessary to remove the protection of the motor, as well as the left wheel, put the automatic transmission in position N, turn off the wheel arch liner and remove the filler. Fill the manufacturer's recommended volume.

Honda

Use a new watering can to fill as much as drained. It is important. Then start the car and work the gears. Repeat the procedure about 7 times. This is necessary for the outlet of the waste liquid from the torque converter. It will be updated. Silence the car and drain the second batch.

Oil change involves the installation of new filters. Twist the drain plug. Pour in the freshly drained liquid. Start the engine again, operate the selector and check the level. That's all!
