Mycoplasma - treatment, causes, symptoms.

Mycoplasma is a microorganism that causes an infectious disease of mycoplasmosis. Mycoplasmosis , depending on the pathogen, can be of two types - respiratory and urogenital. The causative agent of the respiratory form can be transmitted by airborne droplets, and the diseases that are associated with it usually proceed fairly calmly, in the form of a common ORZ, but in rare cases, mycoplasma can cause more severe diseases, such as pneumonia. Symptoms of the respiratory form of mycoplasmosis include - fever, runny nose, inflammation of the tonsils, and if this disease goes to severe form, then symptoms typical of pneumonia will appear - chills and general intoxication of the body.

Urinary mycoplasmosis is a more interesting and complex disease. It is transmitted in most cases sexually, but it is also possible the way of life of the infection, although this is rather an exception than the rule.

Symptoms of mycoplasma in women:

  • Itching and burning
  • Pain in the lower abdomen
  • Painful sensations during intercourse
  • Pain during urination
  • Discharges with unusual color and odor

Symptoms of having mycoplasma in men:

  • Painful in the groin area
  • Appendectomy
  • Small discharge in the morning

Immediately after infection, mycoplasma itself does not manifest itself, so the first signs of the disease can be observed only after three weeks. In addition, about 40% of people can be carriers of the infection, without even knowing it, because they have mycoplasmosis showing no symptoms. Still it is necessary to understand that a rather serious disease causes mycoplasma, whose treatment is a long and unpleasant process.

Exacerbation of mycoplasmosis can provoke such harmful factors as hypothermia, stress, abortion and alcohol.

The first signs of the disease in men are mucopurulent discharge, pain in the area of the urogenital canal, and itching in the groin area. Also quite often there is inflammation of the prostate and epididymis, redness of the scrotum. All these manifestations of a man quite often do not notice, and continue to have sex with their partner, infecting her with infection.

In women, mycoplasma in most cases affects the vagina, urethra, cavity and cervix, the membrane of the fallopian tubes. Also, patients often have translucent, pale discharge and itching in the vagina and labia. This infection can contribute to inflammation of the uterine membrane, which leads to poor attachment of the egg and inadequate development of the fetus. In addition, it can have a harmful effect on the uterus itself and the genital functions of mycoplasma, the treatment of which has not been carried out.

Mycoplasma - treatment

Lately, a lot of sexually transmitted diseases have appeared, the cause of which was mycoplasma genitalia. Treatment of this bacterium must be carried out with all responsibility and seriousness, because an untreated infection has all the chances to manifest itself again after a short period of time.

Treatment of this disease should be complex and include, as a means, directly affecting the pathogen, and drugs that stimulate the general resistance of the body. If you correctly approach the choice of funds, you can relatively quickly get rid of such a pathogen as mycoplasma. Treatment, drugs in which non-specific drugs are used, must be carried out especially after a specific one. The fact is that with specific, narrowly focused treatment, the disease quite often goes into the chronic phase, while practically not showing external symptoms, which can create a false illusion of recovery.
