It was attended not only by participants from 15 Soviet republics, but also from autonomies. After the collapse of the great Soviet Union, of course, the contest held in Moscow was called Miss Russia. And now for over two dozen in the Russian capital, an authoritative jury consisting of television, film, variety artists, etc., chooses the country's most beautiful girl.
