Materials for Blinds

It is impossible to imagine a cozy modern house without beautiful draperies on the windows. Blinds have long become one of the most practical and convenient solutions in this sense.

But what are they, in principle, are, these same blinds ? What are they made of? In view of their excellent diversity, the classification can only be approximate. Depending on the type of arrangement of the slats (strips), the vertical and horizontal blinds are distinguished. On the blinds, the vertical price will be roughly the same as the price for the horizontal ones: the type of arrangement of the slats only has a small effect on the price of the finished product. But what affects is the material and processing.

There are fabric blinds, there are plastic, iron and wooden. Cloth blinds are distinguished mainly by the quality of the fabric used to make them: there are more expensive ones (from Belgian, French or Dutch fabrics), there are cheap ones - from Chinese fabrics. The latter are usually lower in quality and quickly lose in their properties. It also happens that Chinese blinds are dishonest implementers for expensive French products, with a doubly unpleasant result - you get a poor-quality product at a high price, so fabric blinds should be bought only from those producers that you trust. The materials and technology of processing the fabric blinds in all manufacturers are approximately the same: it is silk, linen, cotton. The difference in the final result.

Plastic in principle are a monolithic category: there are no specific subspecies in this category, these are simply blinds made of plastic.

Wooden are made from numerous tree species. Most often for their creation is used pine, slightly less often - Canadian cedar and similar in their properties to the species of trees. Most blinds of such blinds are processed: they are varnished and covered with a classic for blinds, preventing dust and dirt from adhering, as well as having antistatic properties.

Metal are made mainly of aluminum. Why aluminum? This metal is relatively light, at the same time it is durable, and therefore it is perfectly suitable for use in any premises - however, most often this type of products is used just in the factory premises, in workshops and workshops.

Also there are blinds made of bamboo and jute, not inferior to wooden in quality, but designed for interiors in a certain style.
