Lambrusco wine: expression and splash of joy in one glass

Lambrusco is a special wine. According to rumors, this species was also brought out in ancient Italy by the ancient Romans. According to another version, the vine was selected by the ancient Etruscans, who gave the name to the drink. However, for the first time the vineyards of "lambrosko" were classified relatively recently - only in 1867. This brand is a proud child of the large wine region of Em Or Romagna. Lambrusco wine is fermented in stainless steel cisterns, but manufacturers pour the drink on bottles and cork, without waiting for the end of this process. Lambrusco is - like champagne - white, pink and red, dry, semisweet and dessert. The latter variety is obtained from the blend: to the main variety is added the unvarnished wort of Ancelotta vine. All these drinks are very tasty and suitable for fruit, pizza, desserts. But those who know sommelier are sure: the right thing is dry wine red Lambrusco. It is characterized by a rich red-ruby color and the smell of fruits and violets.

Lambrusco wine is easy to drink, like some refined Coca-Cola. The alcohol content in it is only 11 percent. But two glasses are enough to feel a light, akin to youthful love, dizziness, which, however, takes place within a few minutes. Fritzante gives a bright pleasure, mischievous joy and emotional uplift. Soft tannins, aromatic floral bouquet, juicy taste and gentle tongue tingling distinguish it from other beverages of the region, as well as from numerous "champagne" wines at least the same Prosecco. Although, like this last drink, lambrusko is served very chilled - maximum 8-10 degrees. Keep the bottle is not worth it - it should be drunk while the wine is young. A couple of months yet she can stand - in a dark cool place, always in a horizontal position.

What is the use of Lambrusco wine? If it is dry, an impressive gastronomic base is required. It can be combined with meat and fish dishes, vegetable salads, seafood. Semi-sweet brands are suitable for fruit salads. It is also served with light Italian desserts. And sweet varieties are directly created for ice cream, chocolate or cheeses.

Which wine is best to buy? The most elite are considered in Italy beverages category DOCG. This abbreviation means that the name of the wine is guaranteed to match the place of origin of the vine and that it was tasted and approved by specialists with a state license. The label should also indicate "frizzante", and not spumante - sparkling champagne wine. The best brands are Solomina di Site Krona, Di Sorbara, Grasparossa di Castelvetro.
